The Halloween Pawty
As you all know, the Halloween pawty was at Crumpie's barn. It looks especially beautiful this autumn.
Miss April, also known as the Martha Stewart of the NorthfordTimberFramers, set us this yummy display. She outdid herself with the added wagon wheel this year.
There were gorgeous clocks to see~~
And peeps in their fun Halloween costumes~
And there was food - lots and lots of yummy food. Mom didn't bring any of it home with her on Saturday night.
Sunday morning, we are on our way over to clean up.
We were not allowed to get out of dad's truck. Mr Crumpie didn't want any additional scratches on his floor from us going nutso but that didn't stop mom from bringing marshmallow treats out to us.
And green monster goo out to us! This stuffs is good!
One of the NorthfordTimberFramers carved this pumpkin with the Heart of the Barn on it. Isn't it just the coolest!
It's up in the beehive oven because mom had this brilliant idea that she was going to decorate with it on the floor only - it's a foodable item and we were going to EAT IT! Geez, mom!
Okay, so we got to pose with it for a minute or two. Lots of treats were dispensed to keep our attention off of the pumpkin!
So even though we weren't invited to the Halloween party, we still got yummy goodies ☺
So until next time............

And the Winner of the PawMat Is..........
We are back to announce our winner!
We had 28 comments on the paw mat posting. Randomizer chose number 2! Congratulations to our longtime friends, Gussie and Teka!
Please send us your mailing address at maggiesue710 (at) yahoo (dot) com and we'll get your paw mat mailed out to you as soon as possible.
Thank you for playing along everyone!
Mom says that we'll be having another give away before Christmas so stay tuned!
Today is the annual Halloween Pawty at Crumpie's barn and guess which Dales are NOT invited!
We are helping mom make Dotty's famous stuffed celery ~
The pawty goers all seem to like it.
The recipe is 8 ounces of cream cheese (softened to room temp), approx 1/2 cup of crumbled blue cheese and 1 small can of small shrimp ( same size as a small can of tuna). Cream these 3 ingredients together. Then sprinkle in a few shakes of onion powder or onion salt, a generous squeeze of lemon juice and a few shakes of Worcestershire sauce. Mix this all together until well blended and stuff the celery. Sprinkle with paprika and refrigerate. Easy peasy!
We didn't get any of the stuffing part but we did get celery. Both of us love celery!
So until next time...........

Autumn Aire and a Give-Away
Remember this fabric that Miss Susie and Treacle sent us?
Mom has finished with her project. She used every single one of the beautiful fabrics on this AutumnAire mat.
Thank you so much, Miss Susie and Treacle! Mom sure did have fun making this!
And mom had so much fun sewing that she made a paw mat that we will be giving away. Your peeps can use it as a mug rug for their morning coffee or tea while they read blogs ☺
All you have to do is leave one comment on this posting. This will be worldwide so everyone gets a shot. We'll let the randomizer choose the winner for us. We'll be back in a couple of days to announce the winner. Good luck to all of you.
So until next time............

Barktoberfest 2014
We always know that we have arrived at Barbara Curtiss's Barktoberfest when we see Denis's fabulous sculptures! Our mom would sure love to own one!
Or two~~
This was Molly's very first time to Barktoberfest with so many people and Airedales and AiredaleWannabees and she was nervous but still wanting to meet every peep and every pup.
The first thing we did was to take a walk up Kent State Mountain and this AiredaleWannabee was our leader. The peeps think that a nice vigorous walk will tire us pups out so they can have more fun! HA!
This is Molly after the walk. She's a frothy mess and she wouldn't take a drink of water and she refused cookies. Who refuses cookies? She's still a nervous Nelly at this point.
The peeps thought it would be entertaining if pups put their heads through the cut-out in the pumpkin so I gave it a whirl~
Molly is meeting and greeting and getting more comfy finally - yay!
There were lots and lots of Airedales.
This is handsome Basil~
And this is Winston~
There were puppies!
And they stole the show like puppies do!
This is Rosie. She was a rescue from the age of 12 weeks old. She is now almost 3 years old. She's the most unusual color and she's such a beautifully sweet girl.
I hope you don't plan on putting that crocoDale costume on me!
I guess she did!
This is Basil again. He's a stripper ☺
Are you practicing to become a Greyhound, Molly?
Molly is finally feeling more comfortable.
Yup, she's happy now!
We sure did have a fun time and we can't wait to go back next year!
So until next time...........

Can we please go back again today? I'll do better - I promise!
We sure did have a blast!
Mom bought 2 ornies for her Airedale Christmas tree. No, we have not put our Christmas trees up yet. It's too early! This small tree lives in our hallway and it stays there all year long. It's only a foot tall. We sure did have a fun time and we can't wait to go back next year!
So until next time...........
