Lovely Lavender

Our neighbors asked mom to water their outside plants one time for them while they were away.  Mom loves to go next door and see their beautiful plants and gardens.   They are meticulously cared for and there is never a weed to be found.   It's a serene and peaceful place to be.
We're not sure what these red flowers are but they are so striking and beautiful!
 The Begonias are fabulous~

And the strawberry jar is full of fragrant herbs!
The Petunias are so full and pretty in its container.
They have green thumbs for roses - unlike our mom~

The many containers that line their driveway are full of all kinds of different flowers and colors are so striking and happy!
So for watering their garden one time, look what they brought mom.
She can't seem to keep her nose out of this bunch of lavender!
Our house is smelling so beautiful!
Thank you so very much, David and Michael.  You sure did make mom smile lots!  Word has it that  one of the lavender bags will be up in the bedroom on her side of the bed before long☺
Love ya lots♥

  1. Lavender is so relaxing. Lee has a little cushion filled with it and places it by her neck after a hard day. Lucky you with neighbors who have such a beautiful yard.
    Thanks for being a friend

  2. Lavender is a very relaxing and calming fragrance...maybe we need a bunch of it here. What beautiful flowers it would be an amazing chore to walk about watering them.

  3. The pleasures of living where the temps are cooler. I have already cut back my tomato plants. They were actually sunburned! Maybe I'll try Fall. Right now I'm disgusted by the whole thing. Tomorrow I plan to clean it all up and get rid of it. Maybe I'll feel better by morning though! HeHe. What a lovely gift! I love lavender. I'd love to grow some! Thanks for sharing. Have a nice day.

  6. We have a little lavender bush next to the back door. I've been peeing on it for years, but it keeps coming back! (Ghostwriter is giving me a dirty look right now.)

  19. I like lavender too. Mine didn't make it through the winter this year, I guess it was a little too cold with not enough snow for cover.
