ABOUT PIPER
Piper needs eye surgery to spare her the discomfort she has endured for so long and to prevent her from going blind. She has a birth defect in her eye called a Dermoid. This is a condition caused by a tissue that grows in an abnormal location. Piper's is on her cornea. It is quite large with hair follicles growing out of it. The hair rubbing against her cornea has caused several scars on her retina. She also has a large cyst under the same eye as a result of the dermoid.
Piper is a young 4-year old who thinks she is still a pup. She lived
chained up outside for most of her life until SOAR rescued her. She is
living in a loving foster home that is soon to be her forever home. She
is a delightful girl who loves to play and enjoys romping in the water.
Piper is in good health except for her eye issues. She has suffered long
enough and we want to help her.
All proceeds from this auction will go toward the expense of her eye surgery through the Diana Muldaur Fund. Piper asks that if there is any extra money raised that it stay in the Diana Muldaur Fund to help the next rescue Airedale who needs it.

What a lovely story and we do hope Piper's surgery goes well and she will be on the way to complete health. Your new collar and leash looks lovely and so bright for the summer weather. Yep Christmas in July but I have not taken part as I have too many other projects which need finishing which is one of my aims this year.
