Darkness At Foxglove Corners

One of our favorite blogs to read is All Things Collie.  They are such gorgeous collies and we learn so much from them.    Not long ago, they posted about a new book they were reading.  The author, Dorothy Bodoin,  has a long series of books available and mom was intrigued.   So off she went to ebay to see if she could find a copy of the first volume in the series for a good price.  

 It came in the mail and she can't seem to put it down!
It normally takes mom FOREVER to read a book but not this time.     She finished it and she LOVED it.
She loved it so much that she wants to read more books from the Foxglove Corner series.  This time she went to Alibris to ordered more books because ebay didn't have the second volume and Alibris did!   
 I'm not sure I am liking mom's new hobby of reading so much.  
 What about putting that book down and playing ball with me, mom!

    Next please thank your mom for sharing this book info. Mom loves to read too and will look into ordering this series.

    Our mom loves to read all the time too, she likes to read when she goes to bed she said it is better than liquor. Mags

    Sometimes Mom reads to us and we love it. We all lie quietly around her and listen for words we know. We don't understand everything she reads but it's fun anyway.

    It is always great to find a new author and read all the books. I have not found one for a while, but then I can re-read books so I get double the pleasure of the story. I will keep an eye out for these books. Happy Monday. Hugs, Susie & Treacle xx

    Oh, that sounds amazin' gurl! Though, I'm with you, I don't likes when the Moms gets these ideas that they should be doin' non-Airedale related stuffs....what are they thinkin'???!!!
    Anyhu, sounds like a good read, and as long as there are treatie balls around, I thinks it's a-okay!

    I'm sure that this books are super fabulous... I will ask the mama if she maybe will read part one to me....even when I'm too young and not blessed with much patience for reading time ;o)

    Maybe your mom can find a book she can read to you? She must be enjoying them if she ordered more. We think you should snuggle up next to her while she is reading and help her turn the pages.

    I'm so happy your Mom is enjoying the books! I can't remember if I responded to your question, it's been that kind of week. But in case I didn't...
    Each book in the series is a stand alone mystery, but the story of Jennet's relationship and friendships progress through the series.
