We are joining Rosy on a VERY cold Flower Friday. It's in the low 20's here with a wind chill in the single digits.
We weren't sure what flowers we were going to find but we were pleasantly surprised seeing as we have had snow and freezing temps. The Dusty Miller is weepy but it's still there!
And the Ornamental Kales are still looking pretty good considering~~
We took a picture of this poor flower earlier in the year. It was a beautiful white color then and turned to a blush pink. This is her winter color☺
And look who else we found - TIED TO A LAMP POST! For sure, this family is on Santa's naughty list!
Oooooooooooooh - I found a tennis ball - but I didn't take it home with me. A Golden lives next door so it must belong to him.
No dilly dallying, mom. The wind is picking up! Let's get home to our nice warm apartment!
Thanks for braving the cold with us!
Love ya lots♥
Molly
Thanks for sharing the flowers again. It always gives us a lift on Flower Friday

oh many thanks now we know the name of the plant what lives since many years with us... it's a dusty miller too and it looks also not very healthy this time ... probably too much rain :O)
ReplyDeleteSome pretty pictures in spite of the cold.

ReplyDeleteYou found some beautimous flowers...even in the freezy cold. Great job Molly! I love the ornamental cabbages, I wonder if I could nibble on them...hmmmmmm!

Molly you are a fashionista in the fine looking suede coat with soft fluffy lining and OMCS it has a collar too to keep the winds off your ears.

Thank you for braving the cold to show us your pretty flowers. The kales are incredible. Actually, I'm amazed that anything can still bloom!
ReplyDeleteThe flowers look like they've got on their pyjamas for a long winter sleep.
ReplyDeleteWow! I didn't think you could still find flowers today! One of these years ghostwriter says she's going to plant one of those kale plants. Oh, and you're very considerate about that tennis ball. In my mind, the tennis ball is ALWAYS mine!
ReplyDeleteMom saw some pretty kale in downtown KC last weekend. It is hard to fathom flowers with snow:)

Hi Molly ... I'm a nortydog, I think I would have taken that stripey tennis ball, at our place the hu-mom loves red and white stripey things ...
ReplyDeleteHi Miss Molly!
ReplyDeleteWe've been away from blogging for a bit but have just caught up on your blog.
We agree with Zoolatry - that tennis ball would have come home with us!
