1/2 cup apple sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup Justin's Honey Almond Butter
1 1/2 cup whole wheat pastry flour
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/3 cup sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 large apple, peeled and chopped
1 banana, mashed
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon cloves
1/4 cup oats
1/8 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup Justin's Honey Almond Butter
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1. For the bread, mix all of the wet ingredients, apple, and banana together in a large bowl. In a medium bowl, combine dry ingredients and transfer to the large wet ingredient bowl, folding gently. Pour the bread mixture into a greased loaf pan.
2. In a small bowl, mix all of the topping ingredients together and sprinkle on top of the bread mixture.
3. Bake at 350°F for 50-55 minutes (or until toothpick comes out clean). Cool completely.
We smelled the peanut butter while it was baking but we don't taste much of it in the baked bread. What we do taste is a hint of banana and apple and it's spicy like gingerbread. It's delicious and mom will make it again.
Yup, it passes with flying colors!
As you can see, my bath on Saturday led to groomies on Sunday. I am ready for Santa!

Sounds delish mainly we just make banana bread. Today Lee says we are making Key Lime Snowball cookies anything Key Lime Lee loves. Your apartment looks so festive with every corner decorated. We have went very rustic this year and just went with everything old ~ old sleigh bells, old sleigh, old Cedar Hill box filled with greens and wood and poinsettia and lights. It is our rustic theme Christmas.ReplyDelete
