FINALLY

We had huge storms and tornado's in our area on Tuesday, May 15th - the day that we moved from our apartment to the country.  Luckily, the move went smoothly but around 5pm on Tuesday, the sky got dark and the winds picked up and the rain pelted the windows and the electricity flickered and went out.   We didn't get our power back until yesterday evening around 6pm.     We were fortunate that only branches fell in our yard.   So many were/are not so lucky.  There are still peeps without power.

Thank goodness for battery powered radio or we would have had no clue about what was going on in the world!

Mom has been doing lots of unpacking and organizing - but very little cleaning.  We had no water because we have a well here and it needs electricity to run.
She has been a real meanie and hasn't played ball with me much because she says she's too busy.   Sure, mom!
We have been walking in between the rain drops and it's the highlight of my day.
Mom did read a lot because it's all we had for entertainment.    We got our internet and phone and TV back around 3pm today, so we're up and running again..........FINALLY!

We have missed you all so much!   Feedly tells us that we are 162 posts behind so please be patient with us as we catch up.

It's sure good to be back!

Love ya lots♥
Molly

  3. No worries on catching up - we are happy to see ou back. We are happy too that you survived the storms. Mom was worried because she knew you were close to some of the very bad storms. One of our human sister's friends lives in Brookfield and said their town is decimated.

  7. We have missed you and were worried but did not want to bother you, as we know from experience how moving can go (down the toilet!)

You have had a terrible first week in your new place, but we know that you can get stuff done now (and take a bath and flush the aforementioned toilet!)

Be kind to yourself and to each other

    We love you

  8. We are so glad you are now in your new home, but to have that storm on the day you moved must have been frightening we are so glad you are both safe. We hope everyone else gets power back soon. Our home is all electric so we are the same if we loose power and now have a little camp stove so we can at least make tea!!!!

Molly looks fed up not playing ball but I am sure that will soon happen once you have unpacked all the boxes. It is the job I hate most but by the end of two weeks you will never know you have not lived at your new home.

Can't wait to see more pictures of your home and area on your wallks. Take care.
