When my gram was alive, she made pen and ink ornies - lots of them.
Now that she has passed, they are even more special to us.
She made them to give and she made them to sell. She had her own little jigsaw and cut them all out one by one.
Gram had peeps save their Christmas cards for her and she transferred the designs onto the wood.
And she meticulously hand painted each and every one of them.
We could go on and on and on showing you Gram's ornies~
They are all so special and we love them all♥
Make sure those white furs stay on Edith and not me, mom!
And Francesca, you can keep those reindeer antlers firmly in place on YOUR head!
Love ya lots♥
Molly

Those ornaments are all so precious. We know your mom will treasure them always. Good luck avoiding the head gear. At least you have some substitutes that can wear them for you.

ReplyDeleteThey are amazing and what wonderful pieces to have, thank you for showing them to us. Molly we think you need an antler or two to get into the festive spirit or a Santa Hat like Treacles!!!! Hugs, Susie xx
ReplyDeleteCharlee: "Wow, what special and unique ornaments!"
ReplyDeleteChaplin: "And what a lot of work went into them! No wonder you treasure them all. It's like having your gram still there with you at Christmas."
Charlee: "Our Dada's Mimmier used to make ornaments, too. They are balls wrapped with lots and lots of thread and then decorated with all kinds of push-pin stars and crystals and stuff like that."
Chaplin: "Yes, they sound really nice, but apparently we are never, ever going to be allowed to see them hanging anywhere ..."
How special to have those....your Gram was very talented!
