We are joining Arty this week for Nature/Flower Friday.
Get a move on, mom!
We have Dutch Iris in our side yard~
And we found Bearded Iris on our walk~
We just missed the Scotty going out to get her morning newspaper. The Spiderwort is near her mailbox.
We just love Peonies!
The Clematis is turning into a powder puff☺
Connecticut's state flower - the beautiful Mountain Laurel♥
We found roses growing along a stone wall~
We couldn't resist taking a picture of our pansies. We love their smiling faces☺
Happy Friday, everybuddy and Happy Flag Day!
~Our flag is red, white and blue, but our nation is a rainbow -
red, yellow, brown, black and white - and we're all precious in God's sight~

What lovely flowers you have today! Our peonies are just getting started. We're worried that with the rain and wind we've had lately, they might get knocked down. It's just about beat the heck out of our wonderful irises. Hope you have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteLovely Irises. We have an Iris farm nearby....not that certain dogs have been allowed to go there. They're just gorgeous. (Love the Jesse Brown quote)
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures and lovely thoughts for today.
ReplyDeleteOh, we have some spiderwort in our garden too, and I always forget what they are called (thank you). I never know the different types of irises either..all I know is we have big ones and small ones! :)

ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful flowers and a lot of my favourites and the colour blue. I just love them. I love seeing pictures of plants that we don't have in the UK especially the Mountain Laurel that would be lovel in our borders. You look as if you had a wonderful walk, Molly.
