We are joining Arty this week for Nature Friday~
The horrible temps and humidity are gone! YAY!
Mr Mike's Marigolds are looking so vibrant and pretty~
We found a Milkweed in bloom a couple of weeks ago~
And yesterday, we discovered the huge pod!
Love the soft purple flowers of the Crown Vetch~
We found purple Loosestrife~
Mom was cutting the grass and discovered this plant on the side of the shed. We have no idea what it is. If you bigify the picture, the flower looks like a lady screaming her head off☺ Mom thought she had it with Pogonia but our lady flower has wild fuzzy hair and the Pogonia lady is more conservative.
Happy Friday and Happy August, everybuddy!
Love ya lots♥
Molly

pretty flowers... our marigolds gave in to the heat wave, sad. We still have some other flowers though. I love seeing the colors! Milo says hi
ReplyDeleteWe have some pretty big milkweed pods in our garden right now too. They do get really big really fast!
ReplyDeleteEvery time I come to your page, Molly, your smiling face makes me happy. Your mom is lucky to have you in her life, especially since you are so good at finding pretty flowers for her to look at.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful collection of nature today Molly...We especially like your screaming lady flower-y weed, and that cool pod!

I love going on walks with you, Molly. I get to see you and all the pretty flowers and plants. I'm sure you leave many some pee-mail. Good for you.
ReplyDeleteHave a woof woof day and weekend, Miss Molly. My best to your peeps. ♥
You sure found some pretty flowers. We don't have a clue what that mystery flower is but we love your name for it.
ReplyDeleteLower temps and lower HUMIDITY...that's fabulous. We think 'screaming lady' would be a good name for the mysterious plant!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful walk. Love all the pretty flowers.
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful collection of flowers, Molly. Our favorites are those marigolds - so vibrant!!!
ReplyDeleteWoos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
I love milkweed, knowing what it does for the Monarch Butterflies! I tried to grow some but had no success. I'm glad that you have some, along with all of those other beautiful flowers!
