She's Still at It

She's been working puzzles non-stop for over a year now.  She never seems to get tired of them.
She says that this was a SuperFun puzzle to work. It was like a jigsaw puzzle and memory game in one.  The hard part was remembering where you saw that particular label or measuring device or thimble, etc.   Mom skips around when she works on puzzles.  She never goes row by row.
She also loves the Cobble Hill puzzles because they are thick and very well made.
Happy first day of June!
Love ya lots♥

  1. Happy June Molly. That is one very pretty puzzle. We, too, love jigsaw puzzles but never seem to have anywhere to put them to work on!! We will have to find somewhere. My Grandmother used to have a table with a puzzle on next to her telephone (long before portable handsets and mobile phones) and would work on the puzzle when she was on the phone!!!!

    Have a wonderful week.

That is an absolutely gorgeous puzzle about sewing. Well done and bravo to Mom. Being quarantined with just books and word puzzles and no games and not enough fabric to quilt, my first venture was out to buy jigsaw puzzle.
I have on for tomorrow post. However, I went to the $$ store only to find puzzles for kiddos and not too many pieces. I bought a kitty w 48 pieces and a Minnie Mouse with 100 pieces. Oh well gotta start somewhere. Does mom order hers or buy them locally!!

  3. Mom is starting a puzzle today. She's been knitting a lot and her hands are sore so she's taking a puzzle break.

  6. I love jigsaw puzzles. I do them on the computer now, but for years and years I did them they way your mom does them. I always did the border first and then fill in the rest. Such fun.

I linked this post to Awww Mondays. You're a huge awww, Miss Molly.

Have a woof woof day and week. My best to your mom. ♥

  7. My ghostwriter says that puzzle looks like it was great fun! I, however, would probably just chew up the pieces! (I got a dirty look from GW just now.)

Anyway, Happy June! Hope this month goes better than the last three!

Oh yes, that looks a winner of a puzzle! I love a jigsaw but have mostly adopted the online version nowadays. I am a bit old-school and like to get the edging done first, then sort out the identifiers (like names and wheels or other obvious things)... Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

  10. Like Yam Aunty, Mama mostly does the online ones...something about little puzzle pieces going missing and being found chewed up weeks later. We have NO idea what she is talking about!

  12. Well, if your mom loves puzzles let her puzzle, but it really does puzzle us since our mom can't do one if her life depended on it. It's a good hobby.

  17. Hey Molly. Happy June to you. We just did the same thing at home when we brought a puzzle to do. It really has been so long since we did one, but it was so much fun. Thanks for the share. Have a great day.
