Tropical Tuesday

Our walkies have been cut short by the too-hot temps and the IRRITATING bugs that buzz all around our heads.  Mom has tried smelly essential oils and other stuffs but nothing works.  
I can't wait to get home and into my cool house and leave the bugs and the heat outside.
 Shortly afterwards comes my morning treat~
It doesn't keep me busy for long but it does make me happy☺
 Mom says all the time, "Thank goodness for puzzles and books when we don't want to be outside"!
We are staying cool and happy and hoping that everyone else is too.

    No problem staying cool here Molly. Current temperature (midday) is 56F with 30 mph winds!

    Your mom's puzzles look like lots of fun. You could make them more fun by hiding a few pieces when she's not looking. Don't tell her I said so if you get caught.

    Some of the little old ladies at the nursing home have been making puzzles to pass the time during the quarantine.

    I hear you. It's even miserable in the shade. I got bit by mosquitoes yesterday so I'm doing the scratching thing. Ouch.

    Hi Molly, I hope you get a cool walk in at some point today when the bugs have all gone in. We agree with you though, inside where it is cool and you can read or do puzzles is the best idea with treats of course.

    In fact I have bought a jigsaw puzzle to take away on vacation with us because of seeing your Mom do hers! I will show you some pictures when it is done.

    Those pesky oak mites are driving everyone crazy around here. We try not to walk too much at night because that's when all the gnats are out.

    Mom has done a teaCUP puzzle that was fun. She likes that multi-pattern one a lot - that must have been challenging.

    Hi hi hi! Ojo here! It has been HOT here too! We also had a buggy Walk the other day. You have my full sympathy, friend! I hope you got just as many doggy puzzles as your human got people puzzles!

    We are very thankful for our AC cooled house too. It's been pretty hot around here lately so we haven't been spending much time outside. You look like you sure are enjoying that treat.

    Molly I am WAY over Summer, C19, isolation, and chaos...I too am happy for my inner sanctum and hobbies. Yay for your treat and OMDs you mom's puzzles are just gorgeous!!! It would take me furever to do puzzles this intricate

    Yes, we know just how you feel! I have found that the Badger insect repellent is more natural and works pretty well for me. But I think when it comes to the natural stuff, it just depends on the person.
    Nothing seems to keep away those pesky deer flies though, which come out as soon as it gets hotter, and they love to buzz around poor Luke. So it's shorter walks for us these days too.
