The Chestnut trees are in bloom.
The Milkweed buds are beginning to open~
 Raspberries!
The pink Astilbe matches the shutters on the house.
We found Balloon Flowers in bloom~

  4. Molly thank you very much for taking mom on this beautiful walkie to see flowers. Balloon Flowers..that is a most fun name. I expect it is nearly as hot up your way as it is in NC.
This heat wave just won't let go of the East Coast.

  6. Many of our flowers dried up after the heatwave we had. But yesterday it rained all day. Maybe the flowers will make a comeback. Looks like you still have some nice blooms.

  12. We agree, Molly, no fun walking in this heat and humidity at all. But you still found us some pretty flowers. We love those balloon flowers. A neighbor has some that are a deep burgundy color but they don't bloom very often.
