Today was my mom's birthday and my sissy took her for a hike up Sleeping Giant! She hasn't been there in over three years, which was before the tornado hit did quite the number there.
They made it to the castle!
And they had lots of fun!
After the Giant, they stopped at
Sergio's pizza and picked up lunch and brought it home so that I could share in the celebration too! You can see mom's birthday cards from
Miss Susie and Treacle and Miss Cathy and Frank in the background.
The birthday dessert was tara misu and it was to-die-for!
Auntie Lydia and her Kerry Blue Terrier Reacher sent mom this beautiful quilt puzzle a couple of weeks ago. Mom had a blast working it!
Mom has declared this the bestest birthday ever!
