We are joining Rosy this week for Nature Friday~
Landlord Bob's weeping willow tree looks so pretty!
The coneflowers and hostas are both in full bloom~Mom made cream of tomato soup earlier in the week and tossed in some fresh basil that we started from seed a couple of months ago. It was so yummy!
Another night, she had a turkey burger and she put ketchup on it and one of these mustard leaves and her turkey burger tasted like she had used ketchup AND mustard! These leaves are so amazing to eat and have such a bite to them.
We have had SO MUCH rain that there are mushrooms everywhere!
We discovered dahlia's but not nearly as beautiful as the ones you saw, Rosy!
I hear a dog barking, mom. Maybe he's a friend and wants us to wait so he can catch up!
Happy Friday, everybuddy!
Love ya lots♥
Molly
Pretty flowers & willow. I never knew mustard greens actually taste like mustard...I thought it was the spices more so.
ReplyDeleteLove the closing image/remark!!!!

Our coneflowers and hostas are blooming like crazy too. The bees and butterflies love them. Those fresh herbs look yummy!
ReplyDeleteI love going on nature walks with you, Miss Molly. I wish I could do it in person.
ReplyDeleteHave a woof woof day and weekend. My best to your mom. ♥
Hey Molly my sweet friend. Landlord Bob has beautiful property and I love weeping willows especially there on the lake.
ReplyDeleteMustard leaves well I'll be a monkey's Auntie. Never hear of them but oh dogs does it sound delish with a burger. I do love me so mustard and of course you know I adore Ketchup.
Hugs Cecilia
What a beautiful picture of you in your green harness Molly! Thanks for the pretty walk today. Coneflowers are one of our favorites!

You found lots of pretty nature around you, Molly. We love the pond with that willow.
ReplyDeleteYou and your mom have some great plants and flowers.
ReplyDeleteYou have the beginnings of a great herb garden. Fresh basil and mustard must be awesome. We so love that weeping willow tree. Great photo of the whole scene.

I think that Blogger ate my comment. Sorry if this is a repeat!
ReplyDeleteI didn't know that we could grow mustard that we could eat! I'm going to research that. That is cool!
I love your coneflower!
Locally sourced food is the best.
ReplyDeleteLulu: "Ooh! Did the other dog catch up? It's always nice to meet a new friend!"
ReplyDeleteChaplin: "And there's the difference between a dog and a cat."
Nature is beautiful, you just have to look.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your beautiful gardens.
ReplyDeleteHi friend, Ojo here! You always find the most beautiful nature to share!
ReplyDeleteAnother great walk. We just love summer and all the colour. Basil is one of our favourite herbs and love including it in recipes and making pesto. Hope you found a friend to walk with. Wish we could go for a walk with you. It has been very, very hot here in the UK so no walks for Treacle just the garden so she find the shade where she wants but I have had to shut the back door during the worst of the day and keep her inside. I have also bought her a tower fan for next to her basket to keep her cool and myself at my desk. Keep safe. Hugs & Love Susie & Treacle xx
ReplyDeleteWow. Alot to see. I love the Cone Flowers. I got some seed to plant. I am still learning what I can grow here. I was looking for Basil seeds today that's when I found Cone flower seed. You always have a nice walk! Thanks for letting us tag along.
ReplyDeleteI plant mustard as a deterrent to bugs on my cabbage and other plants. I didn't care for it in salads, so wasn't sure what else to do with it. I think I'll try it on a burger next!
