Nature Friday

We are joining Rosy this week for Nature Friday~

Remember our friend Miss Jan who gave mom parsnips from her garden?  She also gave her a purple Betony and now it's blooming!

She gave her a cutting from her Chocolate mint plant and believe it or not, it rooted and mom planted it and it's alive and doing well!
Our apple tree has tons of little apples and because we don't spray, not one of them looks very edible.
We found the Crown Vetch flowering along our walk~
We found yellow Toadflax~
Happy Friday, everybuddy!

Love ya lots♥

  3. Our neighbor has an apple tree that creeps over our fence. Later in the year it drops disgusting apples into our grass. Mom doesn't appreciate it. Have a great weekend!

Oh yes, I had a chocolate mint plant in my OZ home... yummy. Another pretty 'bouquet' post this week, Molly! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

  5. You have lots of pretty flowers in your yard. We have apple trees around our property but we just leave them for all the critters to enjoy.

  9. Lulu: "Our Dada says at their house back in New York, way in the woods out past the ravine, there was an old ruined farmhouse in an old field surrounded by old apple trees. He says the apples were yellow and kind of small and kind of ugly, but they made delicious pies!"

  10. We don't spray our apples either, and we also have tons this year. But our birds (the chickens) love them anyway, and if they have enough good parts Luke will get some too. :)
