This weekend, we pause for a time of remembrance as we honor the brave sacrifice of American soldiers who gave their very lives for our Homeland. These courageous individuals served and died to secure our freedom, to uphold our constitution, and to preserve our dreams of peace. Because of them, we have been granted the privilege to continue pursuing life, liberty, and happiness.
We lift our hearts in both sadness and gratitude.
May we never forget.
