We are joining Rosy this week for Nature Friday~~
The Magnolia in our back yard is blooming again!
Mr Mike's Dahlias are colorfully flowering away!Remember this guy from last week. We needed an identification on him. Thanks to YAM Aunty and Millie and Walter, we now know what it is. It's a Pine Cone Oak Gall. The gall houses wasp larvae! Who would have ever guessed!
Landlord Bob's roses are still blooming for you, Rosy!
Mom's latest jigsaw puzzle. She says that it was a fun one to do!
Happy Friday, everybuddy!
Love ya lots♥
Molly
is that common that the magnolias are back? or y mystery? a wonder or a miracle?
ReplyDeleteWe are always puzzled by your mom's puzzle talent. Our mom would never finish one because it is too difficult. Beautiful flowers again too. We are ready for fall flowers to pop up soon around here.
ReplyDeleteBOL me too...you said it perfectly Hugs Cecilia

ReplyDeleteMom sure did a great puzzle. I would love to do that one.
Have a woof woof day and weekend, Miss Molly. Love you and your mom. ♥
Good GOlly Miss Molly what a colorful post you have for us today/ Don't you just love it when our blogging friends help us. Your Mom is one excellent puzzler...how long did it take to complete this one?
ReplyDeleteLove you lots

You found some pretty flowers to share with us, Molly. That looks like a fun puzzle to put together.

ReplyDeletexoxo,
Rosy
Beautiful flowers and some new info. Never seen the Gal before. Lots of sweet pictures!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers Molly! Happy Friday and Happy National Dog Day! Juno
ReplyDeleteIt is awesome you still have such lovely blooms
ReplyDeleteYou got pizza this week? Lucky girl! The flowers, as always, are so lovely. That puzzle looks super hard! Lee and Phod
ReplyDeleteNot to worry about the wasp galls. The wasps are parasitic to other insects (mostly the ones we like, like bees, sadly), but are teeny tiny and never bother people. Do magnolias usually only bloom once?
ReplyDeleteLulu: "Wasp larvae?! That sounds a little scary!"
ReplyDeleteCharlee: "No, see that other comment up there? It says they never bother people."
Java Bean: "It doesn't say they don't bother dogs and cats!"
Chaplin: "Well I don't know about dogs, but cats are people, so Charlee and I have nothing to worry about."
Java Bean: "If cats are people, then what are people?"
Charlee: "Servants."
Hi friend, did you get a haircut? Happy nature day!
ReplyDeleteLots to sniff out there, eh, Molly? I wanted thank you for stopping by our blog and leaving kindness upon Minuet's passing. Such thoughts mean much to us.
ReplyDeleteThe flowers are great and very interesting on the alien plant. Love that puzzle. Hugs & Love, Susie & Coco xx
