We are joining Sunny this week for Nature Friday~~
We did walk each day this week - not far but we were out there.
We found shriveling berries~I found lots of great smells!
This is a Chinese Lantern in mom's garden. We love the lacy look!
The book that we posted about here was a total bust. Mom read about half of it and very little was about the dog and that was the end of wasting her time on that book.
This book grabbed her from the start and she couldn't put it down. It is a winner and we highly recommend it!
Happy Friday, everybuddy!

ReplyDeleteYeah, if it says 'dog' up front, it shoud be dog all the way through, right?! So glad that other one is better. Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
its the best time for a book... a pup, a tea and some snacks and a wonderful story about love... happy weekend to you
ReplyDeleteGreat to see you out and about again Molly. Those delicate Chinese lanterns are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteBut what's with a 'dog book' that isn't about a dog?
Ridiculous!
Toodle-oo!
Nobby.
Ohhhh Molly I'm so happy you and Mom got out and about and I agree about the lacy Chinese lantern...at first I thought it was a spider web.
ReplyDeleteWell for sure we won't be judging that book by its cover. How rude of them to use the Golden Puppy on the cover to draw in readers.
Love you Lots Cecilia
So glad you two got out for some walks!
ReplyDeleteBTW, my mom is still snickering about the shrinking berries - she didn't think it was quite that khold yet :-)
AND I can't wait for my pizza bone!
H&K&W,
Willow
Those are pretty berries and the lacy Chinese lantern is so beautiful. We're glad your mom found a good dog book to make up for the bad one.
ReplyDeleteLulu: "You can't go wrong with a book that has The Head Tilt on the cover, am I right? Even if the book isn't any good, the human can just stare at the head tilt for hours."
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you are getting some walks in sweet Molly, you found lots of pretty things!
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely nautre you found this week. The lacy Chinese Lantern was a great find and those red berries are very Christmassy!!
ReplyDeletexoxo,
Rosy & Sunny
You are like Rocky working his way back into fighting shape in Rocky IV
ReplyDeleteDon't see the Chinese lantern look so lacy very often! Very pretty.
ReplyDeleteWe love the Chinese lantern. It is sad around here with no snow and the weather is way too warm. Paws crossed for some cold air soon. Glad your mom found a book she likes.
ReplyDeleteSo happy to hear that you're walking, you deserve all those pretty sights in nature. The Chinese Lantern is so pretty I hope I'll see one too. I love how Mom still finds joy in books and appreciating nature.
ReplyDeleteNeeding a good book, Julia
We are so glad you got some walks in, it is all looking very wintery here in the UK, not snow of course but very brown and grey!!! Thank you for the book recommendations. Hugs & Love, Susie & Coco xx
