Tasty Tuesday

BTW, that snowball in Sunday's post was the wool dryer ball that I stole.   Mom let me keep it all this time because I was respectful MOST of the time.   She ran the vacuum this past weekend and discovered too much white fuzz on her sweeper rollers so she tossed my beloved dryer ball in the trash.   I will have to wait for another one to fall when the clothes come out of the dryer.

Happy Tuesday!

Nature Friday

We are joining Rosy this week for Nature Friday~~

We have not been walking this week as it's too hot, too muggy and too many annoying bugs!
The last time we did walk we found that a neighbor planted Marigolds near his mailbox~
Next door, the Raulston's Allspice was in bloom!
We headed in a different direction and discovered cheerful yellow Evening Primrose in bloom~
And not too far away, the Lilies were blooming!

Back at home, beneath our Copper Beach Tree, the freebee Violas are back!  Mom loves that they self-sow every year!
Happy Friday, everyone and mom wants to thank everyone for your special birthday wishes!

Happy Birthday to My Mom

Mom decided that mini cupcakes would be a good thing~

I'm ready and waiting~
Yup, I swallowed the entire cupcake in one bite!  Sorry the picture is blurry but you understand, right?!
And because I swallowed my cupcake in one bite, mom decided to do the very same thing~
Many of you know that Maggie and mom shared the same birthday.
The girls are on Nantucket on their birthday way back when~
Maggie would have been 27 years old today.  She is two years old in this picture♥

Happy Birthday, mom!

Love you lots and lots♥

Your bestest boy,

Wonderful Wednesday

My ice cream collar is paying off~

This is mom's favorite ice cream and it was on sale at the grocery store this week.   She's won't buy it if it isn't.  It's too expensive.
Time to play!
Happy Wednesday!

My New Summer Collar

My mom loves buying dog collars and she has for years~

I know - you want to see my face.      Can you see my ice cream collar now?

How about now?!
Yesterday, mom and I were walking and we spotted a coyote in front of us.   He kept looking back at us and he eventually headed into the woods. Then it was mom's turn to look back and see if we were being followed.
He started to bark at us!   Mom has never heard a coyote bark before so she googled it once we got home.

"To answer the initial question set forth, yes, coyotes do bark! The noise sounds much like a dog’s bark. As with dogs, sometimes a coyote’s bark signals a warning, demands attention, establishes territory, alerts danger or displays extreme anger."

We were so happy that we were almost home when he started to bark!

Happy July 1st!
