I am so thankful that it hasn't been so cold out and I can go out and play and I'm so thankful for my beautiful snow!
I bet you know why I'm sitting here~Yup, she's teasing me with my ball. I'm waiting for mom to tell me, "Okay Duke" and to be honest, sometimes I'm not very good at waiting and I don't listen very well. The sun feels so good on my face!Happy Thursday!Love ya lots♥
Duke
Sometimes you just have to stop and smell the roses. Or in your case stop and let the sunshine get your nose warm.
ReplyDeleteIt's nice you have your ball to play with since you are an only dog. We are not at all interested in playing with things in the yard so without siblings it would get pretty boring. Enjoy your snow!
ReplyDeleteWe are back to 7 this morning - with a bit of snow Friday afternoon or so - and then some more big cold!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your Thursday!

Lulu: "Duke, you are doing just like Rush said in that old song 'Time Stand Still' that our Dada likes! 'I turn my face to the sun, close my eyes, let my defenses down' ..."
ReplyDeleteJava Bean: "Ayyy, what about holding a ball in your mouth? Is that in the song?"
Lulu: "No, but Dada says the album has a three balls on the cover, if that counts."
Java Bean: "Good enough for me!"
Hooray for snow fun Dandy Duke, enjoy!
ReplyDeleteYou look so very dapper in your snow gear, Duke! Over here, we've had rain, rain and more rain!

DUKE I love that you are trying to wait. That counts. Sometimes it is hard but well done

You sure look happy to be playing in all that snow, Duke. Did your mom toss your ball into the deep snow to make you do a face plant to get it? BOL!
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to work, but practice makes permanent, as Vince Lombardi said.
ReplyDeleteI’m so happy that you appreciate the snow.🙂 I sort of miss snow as we barely had them this winter. I hope global warming isn't behind all this.
