I have decided that I am going with a very special horse with an awesome story. His name is So Happy. You can read about him here.
I'm going to enjoy my mint julep even though I'm a wee bit nervous. I really want him to win!Mom will be watching the Kentucky Derby from home. She watches it every single year! Mom and I both choose So Happy to win today!
Love ya lots♥
Duke

Duke you will be so happy if So Happy wins! Lynn grew up in Southern Indiana and every Sunday when she went to visit her grandmother as her daddy drove across the Ohio River she would see the Steeples of the Kentucky Downs. But she has to admit it's been a few years since she's actually watched a race.
ReplyDeleteWe were happy reading about HAPPY!
ReplyDeleteMy start in PA found me at my foster in Littlestown - in the area where Hanover Shoes Farms has their trotters' barns - she had horses and had some horse boarders and exercise areas for them - when I met Auntie Di and Mom for the first time, it was in one of the boarding buildings -
