Yesterday was a beautiful day and we were up on a street called New England Drive!
Along the way we found a pretty pink wild Rose~
The Honeysuckle smells glorious as it's everywhere and smells so incredibly fragrant!
We found the coolest rock that's above my head at the end of the cul-de-sac on this street!
We discovered a Kousa Dogwood still in bloom~
A very pretty Veronica was blooming away~
Mom wanted to get my picture with the Marigolds but my attention was on a bird and she told me to, "Look at ME, Duke!"
Birdies are always more important than picture taking, am I right?!

Duke, we agree you got to take advantage of the moment when it happens. If a bird is right above your head you can't ignore it. Otherwise we enjoyed all these pictures of your walk. How about a little rock climbing next time?

Birds are always more interesting than cameras. The birds move and make noise, you have to hold the plan box still.
ReplyDeleteWhich leads me to wonder why early photographers would tell their subjects to "watch the birdie" when taking a photo.
I just looked it up. Back in those days, photographers would actually use a stuffed birdie toy to get people to look where he wanted them to focus for a good photo.
