This one particular day dad found a parking spot at the A&P grocery store! It's hard to find available spots there because you can park for 2 hours without fear of getting your tires marked and receiving a ticket! As we were crossing the parking lot to head to The Hub to get dad his daily newspaper, Mitch spotted an apple that someone had dropped! Mom told him that this was his lucky day and she was certain that someone had dropped it there just for him! Sure, mom!! *major eyeroll*

Mitch was carrying the apple around and had huge drools dangling from his mouth and he looked very scuzzy! Who would want to pet him looking like that! While dad was in buying his paper Mitch decided to eat his apple, thank doGness!

We headed for the docks to have a look at all the fancy boats! Mom wanted a picture of these pretty flowers and look who had to be in the picture taking a pee! ewwwwwwwwwwwwwww

Dad and Mitch are discussing which boat Mitch would like to buy for dad for his birthday! There were sure a lot of choices! There was actually no bad choice! hehehehe

We passed by more pretty flowers while we walked around town!

I wanted to go inside lots of shops but mom wouldn't let me!

This one has some really neat stuff, mom!

This is the Scrimshaw shop and this guy really wants us to come inside! Please say yes, mom!

That night dad took us to Star's for ice cream!
This was our view while dad was inside getting us ice cream!
We almost died when we saw the size of the dish of ice cream dad came out with! It's a swirly dish with half vanilla and half chocolate! The ice cream was towering 6" over the top of the cup! Dad was very generous sharing ice cream with us that night!
Thanks, dad! This is mighty good stuff!

Mom even shared the end of her cone with me!

We had a blast! Nantucket was SO MUCH FUN but it came to an end on Saturday morning at 6AM. These next couple of shots we're on the ferry and it's pulling out and heading for Hyannis!

Once we got off the ferry and into our car to make the 3 hour drive home, Mitch and I fell sound asleep and slept pretty much the entire way home!
It's nice to be home and to sleep in our own beds and walk in our own neighborhood but we do miss the relaxing atmosphere and being with mom and dad all the time and having the most fun adventures ever! Thanks for coming along with us and letting us show you our special spot in the world.
Autumn wanted us to tell you that she is still hard at work knitting her sweater and by next Wednesday she'll be able to show you what she's been working on! We see her staring into outer space a lot - probably dreaming about Hector!
So until next time.............
Love ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch
