Wheelie Wednesday - My New Sweater

Hi everybody! It's me, Autumn!

I spent my days in the gardens and my nights knitting while mom, dad, Maggie and Mitch were on Nantucket! I rumaged through mom's wool trunk and found lots of red yarn and a little bit of green too so I thought that a Christmas sweater would be a perfect choice!

And now to try it on and see how it fits!

hummmmmmmm the neckline is a little bit large and my flower petal hat really doesn't look appropriate with a sweater! I think I'll need to knit a wool cap to match!

What do you think, Maggie? Does the pullover look okay or should I have knit the cardigan pattern instead?
I'm getting the idea that you don't like it! Oh well! I did have a good time knitting it! Maybe it will fit one of my friends better than it fits me!

You have to see this tomato that I discovered in the garden yesterday! It looks like fat wings, doesn't it?!

Dad's friend, Jan, gave us these seeds a few years back! They're heirloom tomatoes that Jan calls Father Lou, after the man who shared seeds with her! It's a plum-like tomato, not too juicy and it makes the best fresh tomato sauce!

I guess by now everyone has heard that I spazzed when I heard about Mango's wheelie brother, Hector being dognapped and then listed on ebay to go to the highest bidder!

We did hear back from Detective Joe Stains and he seems to think that it's a cloning matter! We do intend to rescue Hector-Farley and have an in-depth conversation and find out exactly who he is and where he came from! I'll keep you updated on this front for sure!

See you all next Wednesday!

Love, Autumn

I just checked and Hector is where he is supposed to be. Do you think they stole his DNA when he had his agility accident last winter?

  22. your sweater is divine! I must say though, I would much rather have those gorgeous tomatoes, the ones we get here don't have any flavor!!

I am getting kind of afraid about this wheelie revolution...
