Flower Friday

We are joining Dory for Flower Friday again☺

This sweet smelling vine is growing along our brook.   The bees and wasps and butterflies just love it.

The Autumn Sedum is blooming away~
We are having a lousy year for tomatoes.   It's got to have something to do with the drought.  Mom is hoping that she can gather enough to make fresh tomato sauce just once.
And we are thinking the geese have something to do with our lack of tomatoes too!
This morning glory is climbing on the tomato plants!
Goldenrod means that Autumn has definitely arrived!
These cute cheerful yellow flowers are growing along the edge of the brook next to the tomatoes.
 I'm still avoiding the hAireCut!

Happy Friday, everyone!

Wellness Core Foodables

We got a delivery from Chewy last week.   Mackie and I had decided on the Wellness Core Turkey canned foodables to review.
One of the flavors is turkey, chicken liver and turkey liver and the other flavor that we got to try out is turkey, pork liver and duck formula!
Mackie can't wait!
Remember that I'm bigger than you and I get more!
This is what we do when mom is preparing our dindin.
Time to give it a try - yummmmmmmmm
Mom used it as a topper along with our yogurt.
We give it 8 paws up!   We really REALLY liked it and can't wait for our next meal!
Thank you so very much, Miss Sydney and Chewy, for letting us taste the Wellness Core formulas!
We're off to play tug with our pumpkin!

HAireCut

Who thinks I need a hAireCut?
Just because Mackie got one doesn't mean that I need one too!

Flower Friday

We are joining Dory this week for Flower Friday~~~
These are some of our neighbor's beautiful flowers.   The Moonflower if just gorgeous!
We think this is a Dahlia?   The color is so vibrant!
Being asked to take care of the neighbor's plants was fun and relaxing.  Wouldn't you say so too?!
On the way back home, mom ran into this blooming weed.   We had to look it up because we had no clue what it was called.   We discovered that it's called Flower of An Hour!
We haven't had a lot of Morning Glories this year.  It must be the heat because mom does water them every day.    We just love the Heaven blue color!
 The Garlic Chives are flowering~
We bet he'd be really juicy and plump to eat!
And the Hydrangea is flowering again!
Our dad is away conducting Uncle Bill's house raising~
This is one day's work!   Wow!

Happy Friday, everybody!

Thank You So Much

Thank you so very much for all of your thoughts and prayers and kind words.   Mom so very much appreciates each and every comment that you leave.   She says they all feel like huge hugs and it helps immensely!
We had a delivery yesterday.   Mean mom wouldn't let us have any chocolate covered apple slices or chocolate covered pineapple or grapes.
 But she did share melon.
Thank you so much,  Aunt Chickie♥  We like the edible fruit arrangement.  It tastes so much better than pretty flowers!
We've been getting lots of cards in the mail.  Thank you so very much, Madi and Mom.  You are the sweetest ever♥
We wanted to let you know that we are reading all of your blogs even though we are not commenting on all of them.   Mom is having a hard time staying focused.
We are giving her lots of extra hugs and kisses and it seems to be helping her out.
We have to say that our friends in Blogville are the most thoughtful and caring and loving friends in this whole wide world and we feel so fortunate to be a part of it.  Thank you all so very, very much♥

Our Gram

Our gram passed away yesterday.   It all happened so quickly.
She was alone in her house and she fell and she couldn't get to the phone to call for help.    She had an infection that was making her hallucinate and she was very confused.  Eventually, the infection found its way to the blood and it was just a matter of time.

You all know how much our mom loved to visit with Gram in early December.   It was always such a relaxing time and so much fun to waste the time away just being with her mom.

Mom had a brother named Stephen who passed away when he was 31 years old.   Gram and Stephen were like peas in a pod.
We imagine that Gram and Stephen are so very happy to be together once again and celebrating bigtime ♥

I Am 6 Months Old

I am 6 months old!  Mom and dad are forever telling me how much I remind them of Mitch.

When Mitch was 6 months old, he weighed 45.5 pounds.   I weigh 46.5 pounds.
Mitch was 22" to the withers.   I am 24" to the withers
Mitch's neck was 14 3/4".    My neck measures 15".
Mitch's tail length was 5" and mine is 6".   They dock them differently in Missouri  ;-)
Molly's tail length is 9" and so was angel Maggie's.

This was Molly at 6 months old~
She weighed 44.5 pounds and was 22" to the withers.
And this was angel Maggie at 6 months old.  It was Christmas time☺
Maggie weighed 32 pounds.
I think it's safe to say that I'm going to be a big boy - bigger than Mitch was.   Time will tell!

When Mitch was 6 months old, mom bought him his very first leather bigboy collar.   He looks so handsome in it and he wore it more than any other collar for his entire life.
Mom wanted me to have one too and dad said that he would rather that I honor Mitch and wear his collar.
I will wear your collar, Mitch, with honor and with pride.     Happy 6 months birthday to me!
Mom says that Mitch would have really liked me.    I wish that I could have met Mitch.

Flower Friday

We are joining Dory again this week for Flower Friday☺

Our neighbors are on vacation and mom has been watering their beautiful flowers~
On the way over, mom spotted these mushrooms.  She's a nut for mushrooms!
Such beautiful blooms our neighbors have and never a weed in their gardens anywhere!

 An egg!

This hibiscus is as big as a dinner plate!
 Happy Friday, everybuddy☺
