Did you know that October was National Apple Month!
Mom picked an apple off our tree and tossed it over to Molly~
Molly playbows to the apple and does all sorts of crazy antics.....
Before she finally eats it!
I got an apple tossed to me too!
We had a beautiful autumn weekend. Dad and mom worked on the swan house while we supervised and the waterfowl swam and enjoyed the day~
I found a feather!
We sure are loving this beautiful fall weather!
So until next time.............

Pumpkin Luminary
Look what we found in our yard when we went out to pee!
Mom said that we needed to pose with it for picture taking. Yup, we got LOTS of treats!
More treats, right, mom!
Dad surprised mom with this luminary pumpkin. It's made out of steel and it's powder coated and the directions say that it will never rust and it can stay outside.
Mom says "no way"! It's comin' inside!
ooooooooooooh - here it is lit up at night~
Thank you very much, dad! That was a very sweet and thoughtful thing that you did for mom and it's not even her birthday!

Chewy Rocks
Mom got an email from Chewy asking her which treat she would like for them to send us to review. Are you kidding! Who doesn't want treats! We chose the Wellness Lamb and Salmon Bites because they were soft and mom could use them as training treats for Molly.
A box arrived on our doorstep at 8 AM 2 days after we got the email~
I love them and don't worry, Mitch got one too!
No better time to start training than now~
Molly has issues with eating too much grass on walkies.
How attractive, Molly!
Down, Molly~
Sit!
Not very lady-like but it will do~
Wait till I tell Mitch that I saw his arch enemy!
When Mitch was just a youngster, dad took angel Maggie and Mitch for a short walk during a football game halftime. Arch enemy is a Golden Retriever and we have no clue what his real name is. His electric fence wasn't working that afternoon and he came barreling out of his yard aggressively right towards Mitch and Maggie. Dad yelled at him to STOP! And he did but the damage was done. Mitch never got over it and he goes mental fits on this dog every time he sees him.
That was one fun walk, mom!
Thank you, Chewy! Mom will be bringing training treats along on our walkies every day for a very long time!
So until next time...............

National Taco Day with Jazzi
We're celebrating National Taco Day today with our friend, Jazzi!
Our table is set!
Remember this picture of our homemade applesauce?
That's what's inside our taco and we got a dollop of yogurt on top so we're actually having an applesauce taco!
Mom was too slow for the money shot!
Thank goodness you got to see what the tacos looked like before we gobbled them down!
OOPS! Look what happened!
We sure do love National Taco Day!
Thanks, Jazzi!

Apple Crisp and the Swan House
We made apple crisp for Doug and Steve, who were helping dad on the swan house!
The first step was peeling and chunking up the apples~
The apple crisp is ready to slide into the oven, mom!
And 25 minutes later, it's all done and it smell soooooooooooo yummy!
This is the swan house progress mid-morning.
Time to taste test it!
Don't forget the ice cream!
Don't look so sad, Mitch. Your turn is coming!
Dessert is ready for the hard-working guys!
And this is the swan house progress just before lunch~
And here is the progress for the rest of the day~
Dad is cutting the roof boards to length and Doug and Steve are nailing them down~
The WeatherWatch is on the roof so it won't leak.
Pretty soon the siding will go on and the windows will go in! Wait till you see the windows!
Dad is calling it a cottage with a fabulous view!
Do you think he made the swan house big enough?!
Look what mom found blooming in her garden!
So until next time..............
