I Was Attacked By A Lion

Dad decided yesterday morning that he would like to have his birthday lunch in Rhode Island at Captain Jack's so that's what we did! But before we headed down to the shore, we stopped at Ocean State Harley Davidson to see dad's friend, Dana! And while I was inside I was attacked by a lion! I'm okay - no cuts or bruises anywhere! What a place this is! I'm still trying to decide which bike I want to take home with me! There are just too many choices! I don't see one in a pretty pink yet but I'll keep looking!Nope, no pink motorcycle over here either but I see that I can do LOTS of shopping! What cool clothes!Dad and Mitch have made their selections already! Gosh, dad - do you need any help carrying all of those boxes?! Are you buying out the store?! What did you get, Mitch? You're stickin' pretty close to dad!
After we left the HD store we headed down to Point Judith to Captain Jack's!Holy Moley, Mitch! Here he comes and it looks as if he's got enough food for a week! We're sure gonna pawty today! This was our view while we ate dad's birthday lunch! We had a blustery autumn day and the temps didn't quite reach 50 degrees. What a gorgeous day!

Mom was one happy camper! She got to have her favorite meal - clam cakes! yummmmmmm

What a fun birthday lunch this was dad, but remember, we still need to treat you to ice cream! It's our birthday treat to you!

So until next time...............

Love ya lots,

Maggie and Mitch

Maggie, we are sooooo glad that bad lion didn't hurt you! I guess he doesn't know that you could destuff him in a flash! For some strange reason, our mom loves going into Harley Davidson stores! We don't even have an HD and never have! What a weird woman! The only connection she has to HD was that her mom won a Road King and a trailer to pull it in about a month before she died. Oh, yeah, and those clam cakes look very yummy!

What a cool day!!! There is a pink Halrey here where I live and the lady has it for sale. If you want, I can get the phone number off it and you can call her. If you decide to buy it you can stay at my house!
Hope you get to go for the ice cream treat before it gets too cold for icecream! What am I saying? It's NEVER too cold for icecream!

did everyone share the crabcakes nicely?

OMD. Lucky that lion didn't pounce on you! (I think you could have taken him!)
Those cakes look good, but Mom wants to know if they have crab cakes. Her FAVORITE!
Except for lobster. When she was a kid and she lived in MA, her mom used to buy live lobsters at the store. Mom always played with them, then cried when they hit the old water for cooking, (But she still ate them BOL)

We have one word to say: YUM!!! Or maybe a few more, such as WE WANT SOME TOO!!!

It's still kind of warm and humid here, so we could use a bit of 50 degree temps. But I guess we'll have some of that when we go on our Christmas journey to St. Loulis.
