Mom has been sewing for the last 2 weeks making curtains for our entire house to try and lock in the heat and keep us warmer this winter plus maybe conserve on the oil a wee bit more seeing as the prices are so much higher this year than last year!She bought a whole bolt of white fabric and she heads upstairs to sew whenever she get a spare minute!
The gardening chores are in full swing too! We've been hauling all of the garden ornaments out of the garden and storing them upstairs in the barn till next spring and pulling weeds and cutting back on all the plants! Pretty soon it'll be time to rake all of the leaves out of the gardens! This is autumn sedum! It's it just the most spectacular color?!
I sure do love autumn! It's such a busy time of year but so rewarding!See you all next Wednesday!

Wow Gram's really impressed with the sewin' work.....but I'd stick with the newer sewin' machine fer the best results....so ya use oil fer heat....yep, that'll be a whole lot higher this year or so they're sayin'....with everythin' in such turmoil taday ya have ta do all ya can ta cut back...hope it works ta keep ya warmer...

That is one of those machines that practically sews by itself. Those are nice looking curtains. We also love this time of year.
