Things We Like To Do

Lorenza tagged us to talk about things that Mitch and I like to do.

1.- Where is your favorite place to sleep?

I like the rugs and floors and fireplace hearths in the summertime. Fleecy beds are just too hot!
I agree with Maggie! Beds are just too hot! Alongside the bed on the floor is best!

2.- Is there a specific trick your humans make you do to get treats?
Mom doesn't get creative with me very often. Sit and speak is pretty much the extent of it!

Well, I'm not that lucky! Mom wants me to roll over. Maggie has never been taught to do this and she's too old to want to do it now so I'm the elected party! I'm doing my "down" here~

And here I am just starting to roll over - well, sort of! We're still working on it!

3.- If you could spend an entire day doing anything at all with anyone what would do and with whom?

We both totally agree on this one! We want to hike at Sleeping Giant all day every day, right Mitch?
Absolutely right Maggie! With dad and mom and Putter and her mom if they care to join us and anyone else is more than invited to come along!
This is an older picture! It's time to hike again, right dad?
4.- What is your favorite toy?

Without question - Mr. Carrot! He always was and always will be!

I love rope toys the best at this time in my life! I still have the one that Jaffa sent me because mom sorta hides it from me sometimes!

5.- If you could change one thing in your life, what would it be?

I have to say that I wish my dad would have never had to be sick and he and mom wouldn't have left me alone for all those days and hours to go to doctor appointment after doctor appointment and hospital stays before he finally got his new heart. It was a very lonely time for me. I'm so glad he's all better now!

And I have to say that I wish that I could have starting living with mom and dad and Maggie when I was 8 weeks old instead of 4 months old. Pet stores are no fun with people coming and going and no one wanting to take you home and love you. Bless my family for taking me home with them. I love my family!

And now we get to tag three more doggies to play the game! We tag Putter, Amber and Stanley. Tell us what you like!
Until next time...........
Love ya lots,
Maggie

  1. Maggs!!

Have you been up since 4:30 in the morning your time??? How do you DO that?

Thanks for sharing your fave things (and for letting Mitch Man share too). I get to know new things about you guys everytime I come here.

I've heard you talk about Mr. Carrot before. Where did you get him and how long have you had him (he looks like he's in remarkably good shape). I was hoping Mitch would say he liked big-lipped Mr. Fish, but I understand the obssession with the ropes.

So glad your dad is doing well. I saw the video Putter's mom took inside your barn & was very impressed with all the equipment, and with how totally cool it looked. The inside of your barn is nicer than the inside of a lot of people's houses.

OK. I'm on it, and will reveal to the world my fave things sometime this weekend.

    Goober love,
    Stanley

  3. That was a very interesting post Maggie and Mitch. It is good to find out more things about you both!

We don't have pet stores here which sell dogs or C.A.T.S.....you could not buy a dog or C.A.T. anywhere like that. I feel sorry for poor Mitch, but he has a wonderful home now,

    You are both soooooooo lucky!

  4. Hi Maggie,

Funny, for us to get treats we have to do just the opposite: sit and not speak!!! Mom has been trying to teach us Barkalots QUIET!!! for quite a while now. Good luck, Mom!! (We're trying, we really are.)

I was in a pet store too until Mom and Dad found me -- I was 3 and a half months old -- I guess that's about 14 weeks. Not fun, eh?

We didn't know you when your dad was sick, but we're happy to learn he is better now. Nothing like two airedales to make him smile and get better!!

That must have been so hard on you and your mom and your dad. But I'm so glad he's healthy now with a new heart! Did he wear out his old one loving you and your mom so much? :)
