That there's a brilliant invention called Apple Butter! You all know how my brother LOVES apples! He'd do anything to sink his teethies into one!
Mom was making her breakie in the kitchen and Mitch wandered in like he does every single morning - trying to moootch a crust or two of mom's toast. Dad and I could hear the drool hitting the floor all the way into our family room! You better get the lid off the jar quickly, mom, before Mitch goes nutty!
All of a sudden it hit me like a ton of bricks and I went flying into the kitchen! Apples are what made Mitch's beard grow!
hummmmmmmm apples and butter and cloves and cinnamon and other secret spices are in that wonderful jar of goodness??!! Could this be the answer that I've been looking for to get my beard to grow long and lucious?

What a great discovery, Mitch! It's a good thing you were paying attention, Maggie...we wouldn't want Mitch to get all the apple-y goodness all by himself! We hope it does a great job of making your beard grow!

I've never had any apple butter but I like apples too so I must try some. But I don't want to grow a beard! Setters aren't supposed to have them.

My human just loves apple butter. When she was back in Indiana for a visit, she bought a big jar of home made apple butter. Can you believe that they STOLE it when she went through security at the airport! She was sooo sad!
