Mom groomed me this morning! She says that it's getting harder to groom me the older I get because I need so many sitting breaks! She says that she can't groom my butt if I'm sitting on it and she can't groom my back legs if she can't see them! Whatever, mom! This older girl gets tired more easily, ya know!We had two Thanksgivings this year! On Thursday mom made the turkey with all the trimmings and it was just dad, mom and us for dindin. Yesterday my sissy, Missy and Jim were here and we had Thanksgiving again but this time we had pumpkin pie with whipped cream and mom was nice enough to share a smidge with Mitch and I! Look what Missy and Jim brought mom! Isn't is beautiful! Poincettia's are on the poison list for us doggies so make sure you guys don't eat any part of this plant, okay? They're very beautiful flowers but deadly!
On a positive note - I hear that pizza is on the menu for dindin tonight! whooooooohooooo Mitch and I will be giving thanks for that too!
So until next time....................
Love ya lots,
Maggie

ReplyDeleteWe'll be sending good thoughts your way when you go in to have your mole removed. I had one removed once... but it was a furry kind that was in my mouth that was running through our yard before I POUNCED it. Ooops. Mom made me put him down. I hope your removal goes JUST as easily!
Love,
Ammy ;)
Maggie, I had to do a BIG bath and grooming session before my friend Joanne gave my leash to Sherry. Why do they make such a fuss over how we look? WE don't care!

Congrats on your blogaversary -- that is very cool! We are trying to imagine Madison in two years ... that's a lot of blogging and a lot of adventures! That mole is scarey. Living in Florida, we all get freaked out by stuff like that. Get it OFF right away. You will feel so much better and you can back to being handsome and not have an icky scab!
ReplyDeletehi Maggie, we are proud of you for two whole years of blogging. you are a real trained professional. that's cool.
ReplyDeleteit sounds like you had a great thanksgiving, with two meals and desert. you sure get to eat good around your house.
now we are gonna have to worry about you having surgery to remove that mole. isn't there any other way than general anasthesia? we wonder if you could get a second opinion? Bailey's vetty told him that he has done surgery on dogs that are 12 years old, but still, we don't recommend it. we are probably worriers - we know our mom is - but it's still better to be very very safe when precious dogs are concerned.
woofs.
Happy Blogaversary! I'm so jealous that you had TWO thanksgivings! That means more turkey right?! I will keep my paws crossed for a quick and uneventful removal of that scary mole! Enjoy the yummy pizza!
ReplyDelete-Tibby
Maggie - firstly get this mole removed......

Keep safe and remember, we are the same age, so keep well and safe.

My J is making it, so it will not be posh, but made with good heart!

Congratulations on your perseverance at blogging, Maggie! I don't usually comment, but I do visit your blog regularly to see what you've been up to. Good luck with the surgery.
ReplyDeleteWow it's been 2 years? I'm a newbie at only 1 year, so congratulations!
ReplyDeleteGood luck on your surgery. My old uncle Nathan had dental surgery at age 15 and he had heart problems but he sailed right through it with no worries. The vet he had was a dental specialist and he was very good. My doggie mom needs a cleaning and she's 12... Crossing my paws for you too!

Hi Maggie,
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your second blogging anniversary. That's great! It shows that you not only have much to say, but you also have an interesting life that you like to share with us. Great job!! Keep it up.
You look lovely after your grooming, but I agree with you about not letting your mom do your back end. I don't let my mom do my back end, or front end, or middle, or...
That mole is a cause for concern, being so close to your eye. How did you get that? It must hurt when it bleeds. Good luck with your surgery. You, and everybody else, will be glad when that's gone, for sure.
Love and Koobuss Kisses,
Koobie
Happy second blogiversary! Good luck with the surgery. That mole looks like it hurts.

Congratulations on your 2nd year of blogging. You have a great site and we love to read it. Maggie and Mitch would have loved where my humans went yesterday- they were at a house with an Airedale (12 yr old guy). He was cute!

ReplyDeleteKeep us updated on the blemish-removal routine...you blondes sure have to exercise a lot of care. Goes with the territory, we guess!
Cheers,
Sephie & Buster
Hi.... Yalo here! When you've had as much surgery as me...it's not sooooo scary! My mommy treats me with every treat possible and I get spoiled rotten.... hehehe. It'll be okay.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your 2 years!!!!
Aireslaps,
Yalo, the BIG Red Guy of the tribe
Ouch, that mole looks sore! I hope it can be removed quickly. I guess you would be wiggling around too much, that's why they'd need to give you anesthesia. Maybe you can have your teeth cleaned at the same time to get two birds killed with one stone. (CC-man gasps!)
ReplyDeleteT-man's mom, CC-man and T-man Angel
oh my dog! pizza, you say? oh wow. oh wow. our humans pizza too many times this week but we've scrapped off the begging list because a certain "girl" was being too picky with her food. so no unnecessary snackies for the meantime.
ReplyDeleteas for the mole, maggie we are so sorry to hear that its bleeding and stuff. i could not imagine any surgery being done on your beautiful face.
we are a little concerned about the anesthesia though.. umm.. i think the doc knows best if you can go through it.. manang's original alpha dog was not allowed to be given anesthesia bec. oh old age.. not that im implying anything. just be careful dear girl.
We will pray that everything will get better.
drooly kisses,
Aki
we've barked too much and we forgot one more important thing:
