Mom's New Toy

Yesterday we were in Marlborough, Massachusettes! We have a funny feeling that we were not too far away from Mango and Dexter's house! Are we right, guys?

Dad bought mom a new toy and we had to drive to the Solomon Pond Mall to pick it up! This lawn toy was coming from New Hampshire and the owner was kind enough to drive it down a good distance of the way for us!

What the heck is that in the back of the truck, dad? This doesn't look like a fun toy for mom!
There it is, Mitch! That man is sitting on mom's new toy!We had a two-hour ride to deal with and mom packed a picnic lunch for all of us!
Greek pizza! yummmmmmmmmmm
On the way home, Mitch was hogging all the room so I made do and used his large marge butt for my pillow!
Yeaaaaaaaa, we're home and mom has a new/used John Deere tractor to cut the grass this summer!
Do you think this baby will go as fast as Dale Earnhardt, Jr's race car did?!
Mom's new toy has a cup holder on the left for her bottle of water and on the right is a tool box for her eye shadow and mascara!Way to go mom! Getting the grass cut in record time leaves more time for walkies and trips to Durham for ice cream! yahooooooooooooooooo

You guys have to see this! We were reading our favorite blogs like we do every day and had no clue that we were featured on this blog! Thank you so very much, Mary - we were VERY surprised and totally blown away! We are honored and humbled!

We received this beautiful award from our friend, Checkers! These pink roses are given to friends, bringing them a sweet and fruitful day. Those who receive these roses as a gift, need to pass it on to ten friends to show them you care. And to those who received the roses, it's to show you are never forgotten.
We would like to pass the award onto Scruffy, Stan and Lacie, Bailey, Baxter, Brody and Benson, Gussie and Teka, and Mona and her Mommy!

So until next time...............

Love ya lots,

Maggie and Mitch

Will you get to ride on your Mom's new toy? She could put a bed on the back so you could supervise the yard work! Lovely roses award.

Your friend,

Nice tractor! You will be able to make pretty patterns in the lawn with that.

PIZZA??? I thought I smelled something good.

What a great new toy! Our mom got one last year! She's already used it once, this year! She says mowing the lawn is some kind of therapy for her. Of course, so is digging rocks out of the yard and putting them along side of the driveway. Weird woman! Congrats on your award and we hope your mom enjoys her new toy!

Oh do you have a lot of grass to cut? How big is your yard? That sure is a neat looking lawn mower. Hope your mum enjoys it.

Our Mom doesn't want a new toy like that, but she says if Dad wants one - he can have it. He mowed our yard for the first time of the season yesterday. Occasionally Mom offers to help him if he's too busy at work.

Piper makes us all crazy when the lawn is being mowed - he runs from window to window and barks like a toy - we can't even imitate the sound he makes - it's horrible!!

Have a fantastic day. It's raining here and the new mown grass smells delightful. Can you believe we're expecting snow tonight??

Great new toy --- we need a new toy like that, only it would definitely be Uncle Dennis's toy 'cause Mom says it's HIS job not hers. Hmmm...
Oh yeah, pizza is the best! We got some Friday night when some guy came to the door and gave us a couple of boxes. Wasn't that nice??

Loved your review on Travis' blog! Congratulations for writing the WINNING review! Congratulations on your newest award, too!

I think your mom's new tractor looks pretty cool. I saw on "Recreation Nation" the other day how folks soup up their lawn-mowers so they'll go seventy or eighty miles and hour and then they RACE them! You should suggest that to your people! With a souped up mower, there'd be even more time left over for walking!!!
