Dad bought mom a new toy and we had to drive to the Solomon Pond Mall to pick it up! This lawn toy was coming from New Hampshire and the owner was kind enough to drive it down a good distance of the way for us!
What the heck is that in the back of the truck, dad? This doesn't look like a fun toy for mom!
We had a two-hour ride to deal with and mom packed a picnic lunch for all of us! 
Mom's new toy has a cup holder on the left for her bottle of water and on the right is a tool box for her eye shadow and mascara!
Way to go mom! Getting the grass cut in record time leaves more time for walkies and trips to Durham for ice cream! yahoooooooooooooooooYou guys have to see this! We were reading our favorite blogs like we do every day and had no clue that we were featured on this blog! Thank you so very much, Mary - we were VERY surprised and totally blown away! We are honored and humbled!

What a great new toy! Our mom got one last year! She's already used it once, this year! She says mowing the lawn is some kind of therapy for her. Of course, so is digging rocks out of the yard and putting them along side of the driveway. Weird woman! Congrats on your award and we hope your mom enjoys her new toy!

Our Mom doesn't want a new toy like that, but she says if Dad wants one - he can have it. He mowed our yard for the first time of the season yesterday. Occasionally Mom offers to help him if he's too busy at work.
ReplyDeletePiper makes us all crazy when the lawn is being mowed - he runs from window to window and barks like a toy - we can't even imitate the sound he makes - it's horrible!!

I saw on "Recreation Nation" the other day how folks soup up their lawn-mowers so they'll go seventy or eighty miles and hour and then they RACE them! You should suggest that to your people! With a souped up mower, there'd be even more time left over for walking!!!

Wow... that's a cool new toy!! Do you think your mom will let you nitch a ride on it one day?? Oh our mom's 'tool box' contains things like 2409 eye shadows,1892 lip sticks, 764 lip glosses, 914 mascaras, 528 eye liners, 1058 blushers, etc... (there are many things that I have no idea what they are.. and some scary looking torture device that mom claims is an eyelash curler)..
