Wheelie Wednesday - The Entire Picture

Hi everyone! It's me, Autumn!
My sweetie, Hector, wrote to me and asked to see to see all of my garden instead of just focusing on one plant! My mom is a crop-crazy woman! She loves those up-close and personal pictures but for you, anything, Hector!

Pay no attention to St. Fiacre - he's had too much wine to drink and he's swaying and about to fall over! Someone needs to level him and get him to stand up straight! It would be better for his health! This garden is pretty much right out our back door! This is the garden behind the hedges in front of dad's workshop barn! Our hedges are having a tough time! The woolly adelgids have really done their damage! Mom needs to keep up with spraying them or we're going to lose them and that would really be a sad thing!
I know, I know - I'm not supposed to crop today but you've got to see this beautiful iris! Isn't the color just stunning?!
These 2 flowers are off a tree peony! The blossoms are about 6" across that they are very, very fragrant! It's a yellow blossom and the edges are tipped with an apricot color! It's so pretty!See you all next Wednesday!

Love, Autumn

Saw more pics of you guys over at Stanley's blog - I would die for a stream like that going through my yard!

I think I have a crush on Mitch - he is soooo handsome.

  6. Mom was just eeewwwwing and ahhhing over your garden....it is the prettiest she has seen. She likes the Saint with the little bit of a lean.......it adds character she says and she can just imagine him sneaking off at night time for a sip of medicinal brandy :) Me...I am thinking of all the great places to sniff.....but how do you stop maggie and mitch from jumping on things? Mom planted lots of flowers and she isn't to happy that I run on them, sleep on them, sit on them....I think it's fun though :)

  14. The garden is just lovely, Autumn! It was nice to see the larger pictures of it.

Peonies are my momma's favorite flower. Her gramma used to wait every year for them to bloom in her garden, and they brought her so much joy! When gramma passed, Momma got to dig up some of her peony bulbs and plant them in our garden! Momma always cries when they visit us each year... she's weird like that. :)

  29. Wow, now I know FOR CERTAIN SURE that you two are totally angelic dogs!!! My Spokeswoman can't get anything pretty to last in our flowerbeds (she can barely keep GRASS growing in the back yard), cause the goofy Newfie, the psychotic Border Collie, and I are so rambunctious...and the flower beds are always so ENTICING!

  30. I'm with mom- i like the cropped photos. I'd also like to run into that garden and pee on the tallest flower.. I know she wouldn't like that .. but I consider it "watering". Amazing garden.. thanks for sharing.

  36. Lovely garden you have Autumn.

We sort of trampled down a lot of plants and now our garden has been divided into 2 parts. One where we can play and the other where we are not allowed and things are growing again!
