Hi everybody! It's me, Francesca!
Spring is coming and mom said that we needed to put my knitted scarf and hat away and don our spring bonnets! I now have a flowered straw hat all decorated with flowers just like Autumn has!
And because my favorite color is purple, mom used lots of pretty purple iris and hydrangea and African violet flowers and pansies! Gosh, Maggie, you look tired!
My bandana is actually a doily that mom found and folded in half. I like the lacy look. I have a pretty garnet stick pin fastening. Can you see it?
The yellow witch hazel is blooming in our yard right behind the house!
And our younger red witch hazel is blooming in the garden that's in front of dad's workshop!Spring is coming and I can't wait!
Thank you for sharing your blog with me, Autumn!
Friends Forever,
Francesca
P.S.
Hi everyone. It's me, Maggie. I have a special favor to ask. My very dear hooman friend, Miss Barbara, who used to take such very good care of me when mom and dad were running back and forth to the doctor when dad was sick and waiting for his heart transplant, has been diagnosed with ovarian cancer. She just had surgery to remove her tumor and she and her husband, Chris and her sweet Golden Retriever, Emma, are waiting for test results to come back so they know how best to proceed with treatment. Could you please say a prayer for her? My mom and dad are so very worried for her. Thank you.
We will keep her in our thoughts for sure.
ReplyDeleteI am going to inspect our trees and bushes to see if they are starting to bud like yours are.
Slobbers,
