Dad has been in Maine for the last few days and mom has been eating the craziest dindins as usual when he's gone!
One night she decided to have Sally's very generous gift to us - bloc de foie gras de canard! We have never had this before but a lot of you told us that it was like a liver pate and seeing as mom loves Liverwurst ( yes, she and gram are both weird like that) she knew that she would love it!
And guess what? We loved it too!Mitch has never gotten to snag food out of mom's mouth before but she let him give it a whirl! You did great, Mitch! Nice reward, huh?!
Mom gave Mitch a second chance at it. The first time it was celery and the second time, it was toast!Dindin was great, Sally! Thank you very, very much!
And for dessert~ Mitch's favorite!
Thanks for the apple slices, mom!
Before we go, we have to tell you about an awesome video we saw at Bug and Bandit's blog. You might want to grab a tissue first!
So until next time...........
Love ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch

We had to come back to tell you we watched that video, we cried, and we smiled. How very sad to be so terrified but how wonderful that there is someone there who cared enough to give a much needed hug.

Our Mom eats all her favorites when Dad's out of town, too. She doesn't share very well, though. Dad is much better at sharing food.
