Hi everybody! It's me, Autumn!
The official first day of summer was only 2 days ago! It hardly seems possible with all of the heat we've had already that summer has only begun!
Our lavender is in bloom! LOVE the purple and the aroma is so intoxicating!
And the Astilbe is in bloom! We just love the red. It's so striking in the garden!
The pink Coral Bells are in bloom too - tons of them!
And the chartreuse flowers on the Lady's Mantle blend so well with all of the other summer colors. It's such a pretty plant with dew on it early in the morning.
And our one and only rose is in bloom! Mom hasn't killed this one yet! It's only a matter of time!
I hope everyone is enjoying their summer so far!
Our friend, Bocci, is having a give-away at his blog that you won't want to miss! Check it out!
See you all next Wednesday!
Love,
Autumn
We're having winter; but we enjoyed all your flowers. We live with a serial plant killer, so we're impressed.

I do like the long days of summer, but sheesh, if only it weren't so hot.
ReplyDeleteHow do you wheelies always manage to keep your cool?
Slobbers,
Mango
Your flowers are always so pretty! We can't believe summer has just started, either! Our mom can't get anything done, outside, after about 8 a.m. 'cause it's just too darn hot! Good thing she has lots of projects inside! Good luck with your rose. We had one called "Roses for Dummies" and it only lived one year before Mom killed it!

Our mom usually kills all plants and flowers so she is amazed at how beautiful your garden is Autumn!!
ReplyDeleteYour flowers are beautiful! I lives with a serial plant killer too BOL! The only thing she remembers to water is me and for that I am thankful!
ReplyDeleteWoofs and Licks,
Maggie Mae
Your flowers are always so beautiful. Our Dad would like any tips you can give him on growing lavender. He never has any luck with it.

Autumn...your garden is lloking lovely. And believe me sweetie, if my Muzzer can grow roses, your Mom can grow tons of them. Your Mom is just focusing on the variety and doing a wonderful job.

Boy has it ever! Seems like once Summer became official, Mother Nature had to go and turn up the thermostat big time! Hope there's lots of water to keep those flowers beautiful!

What beautiful garden, Autumn.
ReplyDeleteWe're having winter, but we do love Summer! Enjoy!
Your flowers are so beautiful. Our lavendar doesn't even look close to that! We even have a tough time to get it to come back every year! Your Lady Mantle is so nice also. We just planted some new this year. You certainly have a green thumb! Great job!
ReplyDeleteHere we are again - no problems this time!
ReplyDeleteHi Autumn, your garden is lovely - we love the lavedar and can even smell it!
Well we do have some outside the door but nowhere near as impressive as yours.
The roses are beautiful - usually something eats them!
We love the way the pink coral bells move with the breeze.
Thanks for showing us round

Autumn. Your garden is always so lovely. And we always look forward to your showing it to us. Moma had forgotten about coral bells ... she used to have them when she lived in "the city." Now ... the deer would think they were playing a pretty song that went something like, "Here we are, pretty to look at, lovely to eat."
ReplyDeleteThanks for the little tour. If we can't grow them at least we can enjoy looking at them.
Love

You garden impresses! And it looks like your summer is running way ahead of ours...
ReplyDeleteWe might have summer here too. We're confused. It's 19 degrees Celcius today and it's supposed to be winter. What's going on?
ReplyDeleteYour garden is beautiful!

Is it you, Autumn?
ReplyDeleteYou always look lovely and elegant.
Your garden grows beautifully, you have green paws, my dear.
I went to Bocci, thanks buddies.
Cheers!
Hi Autumn! Thank you for showing us all your pretty flowers! I always finds it interesting cuz you teach us all abouts their names (and my mom doesn't hardly know anything abouts the names of flowers).

Honey,
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, BEAUTIFUL garden you have there, and I can't help praise your family for grooming all those precious lots! You should be very very proud. Love Lavender. Am a little sad that I'll have to wait till next year to start my Lavender corner. And yes, roses too!
Thank you for sharing all the beauties there!
