The Finished Hallway

Hi guys!  It's me, Mitch!
First of all - thank you so much for all of your help on my peepee issue!  You can't imagine how much better mom feels about this!  She's thinking that maybe I am pretty normal after all!  Geez, mom!

As you can see, the staging is down in the hallway and the walls are white and the trim is Martha Stewart Mourning Dove and the floors have been washed and waxed (Maggie doesn't come upstairs) and some of the furniture is back in place. 

The stairs backs have had their last coat of paint and the stencil is complete.  We tried to convince mom that Airedales should be running along the stairs but she wasn't buying it this time.  Oh well~

This cupboard used to be navy blue and mom wanted to brighten it up so she painted it with the Mourning Dove and stenciled on it too.   The cupboard holds lots of mom's sweaters. 
Mom has sure had fun painting and sprucing up the hallway and the bathroom. She says they both have been very rewarding projects!  So what's next, mom?

    That's a very beautiful hallway which looks so bright and so neat!!! I like the white walls and Martha Stewart Mourning Dove seems a very sweet colour. The floor is cool and those paintings on the walls look interesting too! The cupboard is very pretty!
    But I was shocked to know that Airedales should be running along the stairs!!!

    Oh, my doGness! Your mom does such great work! Your hallway looks fabulous (even though there are no Airedales)! We need to borrow your mom for a while! Every time our mom thinks about doing something to our walls, she realizes all the furniture has to be moved and she gives up the idea!

    Your Mom did a great job!! We can't imagine being able to paint in the Winter time - Mom tried it once in our house and the walls started weeping - so she hasn't tried it again - and she's wanting to give our living room an update.

    OH wow, it looks wonderful. Mom heard on one of our radio home decorating shows last week that all shades of "dove" are the new "in" color. The stencil work is so neatly done and so beautiful. Wonder what she will do next.

    I love the new bright color, sorry on the Airedale stencil but I think mommy is right again this time. We can always persuade her to stencil another spot, a new project! :P

    Your place is very spacious, how lucky you kids are. By the way, I think I'm giving up on having a Bichon puppy, for the time being.

    Oh, gosh! Your mom did a super terrific job on the hallway! She must be very patient to do those stencils. I'm pretty sure if my mom tried to do that, they'd only go up about two steps and then stop.

    Glad that your pee pee problem has been sorted out. Don't fret too much about it cos actually I have the same problem.. I pee and poop only when I want to but Hershey pees and poops on command!!

    Your mom did a GREAT job... the stenciling looks awesome too (though pawsonally we think that Airedale stencils will look pawfect along the stairs.. heehee)
