Training Treats

Mitch started obedience class last Wednesday and the trainer wants mom to bring an assortment of treats.
Mom decided that we should all take a ride.
Calm down, Mitch - you're too excited.  You're blurring the picture!
Those are too big.  Kathy says little ones so you can have LOTS!
What about a nice new collar.
Kids get new school clothes, mom.  I think Mitch should have a new stylish collar!
OOPS!   I guess I'm blurring the picture now.  I haven't had a bully stick in soooooooooo long!  Please, mom, please?
We're going with the Wellness treats, Mitch.   Mom can cut those up into smaller bits and they're the ones that Kathy uses so these will work out just fine!
I'm all set for week 2 with my training trees and shorter hAirecut!
So until next time................

Love ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch

  6. Mitch,
That is the bestest part about dog school. New wardrobe and packing some treats. We used to cut up little pieces of cheese and turkey dogs and Zukes.

  23. Yep, the tastier the better for class. Mom used to bring hot dog bits or liver treats. Something reserved just for training time. We think you should have gotten a few bully sticks for rewards at home:)

  24. We have many different kinds of treats. Cheese is always good, but so are many of the packaged treats. I break them up into impossibly small pieces most of the time. Just a taste, but watch your fingers.

    P.S. Norwood uses carrots. Yum.

  29. I use Zukes Mini Naturals. They're only 2 calories each, and I cut them into three pieces. Healthy, so you can give them more and get a lot of training in without making them sick...or fat...hahha!
