Our Friend, Bambi




Our friend, Bambi, didn't make it. She passed away early this morning.   Our hearts are broken for her mom and dad, Fern and Tom.  Bambi had everything a sweet girl could hope for but the most important thing she had was love! 
Run free, sweet Bambi.  We will never forget you.


Wings are not only for the birds above
for God gifted you with a dog to love
He knew the love that you could give
for he knew the perfect place for that dog to live
and as you have a void that can't be filled
remember that your memories can't be killed.
The love you gave to your four legged friend
is a gift of love that will help you to mend.
Love from above will always be felt
as the wings are added your heart will melt
When you are feeling low
you will still have a place to go
or you can always talk and share
with a friend who will always be there.

    woofs, was on my way here and saw we lost another pup too..Chairman Bao..just soo sad in DWB's right now...5 pups and 1 kitty in a little over a week....just so sad for all of them..

    The words to the poem are beautiful. We did not know Bambi,,but we feel very sad,, sad for his family, sad for his friends..
    It just so sad when we have to say good bye,. and it just isn't fair... and sometimes we don't understand ,,, why.

    Hi, we went to Bambi's blog and we saw the sad note. We're sorry that we didn't get to know Bambi but my mom and dad know what it's like to lose a furry kid. Dad still gets that far away look.
