Wheelie Wednesday - Summer's Here

Hi everyone. It's me, Autumn! 
Yesterday was the official start of the summer season!

The Daylilies are in bloom~
 And the Coral Bells just keep on bloomin'!
 This is mom's one and only rose bush.  She doesn't feed them and she won't spray them.  If they like it with those conditions, then they're all set!  This rose must be pretty hardy because it keeps coming back year after year.
 Ooops - we fibbed.  Mom bought this miniature rose bush in the florist section of our grocery store years ago never expecting it to make it through a winter outside.  Well, it did - and it keeps coming back year after year too. 
 The Lilies are beginning to bloom~
 This Hydrangea needs some aluminum sufate if you want it to be blue, mom.    It's more purple and pink this year~
 Our Smoke Tree is smokin'!
 And the Astilbe's are in bloom!
 The Lupines are pretty much gone.  The pods are forming, which means they'll drop seeds and next spring there will be lots of new baby Lupines!
 This is the patriotic wreath on our front door. 
 And this is the wreath on our back door~

    I loved your pictures of the garden!
    I've just put in some daylilies. My neighbor had a wonderful collection of spectacular daylilies, but mostly pulled them out when we were in the terrible years of drought.
    Obviously some of his daylilies made it through, because he divided his clumps recently and gave me some.

    I can't wait to see what colors they will be.

    Love your yellow day lilies. The deer ate mine. The Knight confirmed that the buds were there when he came home Saturday night and there was nothing but stems and stalks on Sunday.

    It's so colorful around your garden. Our rose bush is the same, we don't do anything. It just has to make it on it's own. last year it only had one rose all season. This year it's covered with flowers.

    Autumn, how beautifully your garden is growing! Isn't it funny how the plant you least expect to thrive always does so well - that little rose bush is so pretty.

    Our neighbors just got a smoke bush. Mom is watching to see how it does here in this area, and maybe we will bet one too.

    Wowee...what awfully pretty flowers! Where you live is a lot more colorful than where we live. Can you believe our flowers are just NOW starting to bloom around here? I can't believes there's places like yours where there's such a humongous color parade!

    Autumn, thank you for showing your beautiful garden. It's amazing to hear your mom's rose comes back every year. Wreaths are very beautiful, too! We only have it around Christmas time. :)
