Yesterday, dad and Mitch headed off to Crumpie's and they forgot all about me. Can you believe they actually left without me - the nerve! I stayed by the back door waiting for them to return but they never did. Mom told me not to worry. She said that we were going to have lots of fun!
I do NOT consider having my nails done fun, mom - even if these nice ladies are hugging me and telling me what a good girl I am!
We were recently on Sugar's blog and she was playing this tennis ball game. It looked like lots of fun so we are giving it a go. Treats are hiding underneath ever single one of my tennis balls.
Mom says that I need to remove the ball and the treat will appear.
I didn't seem to be getting the concept and she said the most awful thing to me. She said that she wished that Mitch was here to show me how it was done! Mitch is NOT smarter than me - no way - not even close!
Next, we decided to go for walkies! That was LOTS of fun! Our temps have been too cold lately and we've been missing too many walks.
Now the fun is happening!
Pizza for lunch!
I think I like spending the day with just you, mom!
So until next time.............
Love ya lots♥
Molly
Maybe she just meant that Mitch might be able to "assist" you in learning the technique?? That's kinda what happens with us....Chloe usually gets it first...Glad you got to have a special day with your Mom!!

Hi Molly,
ReplyDeleteThe tennis ball game looks so fun!! I would like to try it too! I will ask my mom!
Say hello to Mitch!
Kisses
Matilda
Wow nail trim, tennis ball games, walkies and pizza bones? Molly looks like you had a swell day after all. Have a marvellous Monday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
Special Mom days are the best - what can be better to be the number 1 doggie for the day :)
ReplyDeleteAwwww...one on one times with Mum are the best!!!!
ReplyDeleteMolly, you look so sad getting groomed that Mom contemplated sending us on a special rescue mission. If it ever happens again, just let us know!
ReplyDeleteMonty and Harlow
DARN.... we didn't know that a GIRRRRRL's Day could be so FUN...except fur the Pawdicure thingy... Gee you got to do LOTS of fun stuffs.... EVEN Pizza Bones.
ReplyDeleteWE think you did SUPER with the Tennis Ball game.
I think the pizza saved the day
ReplyDeleteLily
Molly! What a totally pawsome day!!

Oh you got taken to the groomer. Sneaky Bawheheeee. But I think you came out ahead getting pizza and a walkie.
ReplyDeleteThanks for being a friend
Sweet William The Scot
Those Mother/daugter days are so much fun...except the nail thingy.
ReplyDeleteWe saw that game at Sugar's, too. BUT we don't have enough tennis balls yet.
XXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy
Awww! Sweet girl! Sometimes a gir'ls day can be just what you need. Sounds like it turned out well in the end Maggie! Ros and Oscarx
ReplyDeleteOH Molly I loved your girls day with your Mom!! So much fun you had with Mom!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteSee you are just as smart as Mitch!!!
Dear Molly,
ReplyDeleteNext time you play that tennis ball game try this. Just hit the end of the pan really hard with your foot and the balls will all pop out and you can eat all the treats. Just don't pay any attention to what your Mom will be yelling. Trust me, it works.
Bailey Portie
Molly - You could never be forgotten !
ReplyDeleteYep Molly....sometimes us gals just have to hang out with Mo, and get away from the nutty guys!
ReplyDeleteThe Mad Scots
Well that was really sneaky of your mom! Though it DOES seem like she made up for it with everything else you guys did...
ReplyDeleteMomma saw that muffin tin game on Sugar's blog, too! She wanted to try it out for me...but we need more tennis balls first!
Mom is wanting to try that game with us too, but she is trying to find enough old tennis balls here that aren't in shreds:)
ReplyDeleteCiara says she would love to have a Girls Only day with Mom, but she can't convince Dad to take the boys somewhere by himself - something about Lightning being a handful.
Woos - Phantom, Ciara, and Lightning
Spa, treats, walks and pizza sounds like a great girls day to me ;-) OK - spa not so much - it's a human thing but paws up for all the other stuff!
ReplyDeleteYou had lots of stuff going on for sure,, but the most fun to me looked like the tennis balls- not the nail trims.

Okays that's just rude of mom to insult your intelligence by implying Mitch is smarter than you, surely you misunderstood her. I am glad she made up to you by taking you out for a walkie and buying you pizza.
ReplyDeleteAroo to you,
Sully
Walkies and pizza bones almost make up for them snipping at your toesies... almost.
ReplyDeleteHope ya got some of those pizza bones, specially after da insult.
ReplyDeleteThat day pretty much makes up for any experience, especially if pizza is involved! Seems like you had a wonderful time :-)
ReplyDeleteSounds like your special day with mom was fun and it is good to have quality time. Lucky girl

Molly, you've got bigger!! Neither do I like my nails done, but we're ladies alright. :P
ReplyDeleteIt's really good seeing your place again. I caught a friend of your mom asking about your dad and I got worried. I'm really happy now to know things look alright.
I bet your place has a lot of snow, everything looks white there! Enjoy your walkies girl, and yeah, I can tell you enjoy spending time with just mom. ;)
Oh, lovely to see you using your brain, Molly. I've found that if Penny has a good brain workout, she's as tired as if she went for a walk. (We do go for a walk too.)
ReplyDeleteWhat nice Mom time. I has some of those Nina ottoson dog games, they is good fir stimulating the brains.
ReplyDelete~lickies, Ludo
Ooooh! Girl time with Mom! That looks like a TON of fun! Especially the pizza part!
ReplyDeleteYours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher
Except for that whole nail trimming thing, it looks like a fantastic day. I wouldn't worry about that Mitch comment. I'm sure she was just trying to motivate you. Of course how one is expected to concentrate when there is food AND tennis balls is beyond me.
ReplyDeleteKisses,
Dexter
