Frozen Snow

Our beautiful snow is frozen and it's very hard to walk on.  The sun is out nice and bright and my weight is making me fall through.  Getting from here to there to do my business is hard work!
I'm going to need a nap after this, mom!
A few hours later and I'm a genius!
Looky - I'm walking on top of the snow!  Is this amazing or what?!

I think this pumpkin's smile is frozen in place!

Molly and I love the snow but please make the ice go away!

    That frozen snow can be a real menace. Sometimes you fall through and sometimes you don't. Be careful.

    That ICE covered Snow is really TRICKY... SOMETIMES it lets you THINK you are safe walking on TOP and THEN suddenly it just Swallows your paws and legs all up.

    BE VERY CAREFUL. Ernie has already busted his butt about 87 times.

    I TOTALLY get where you're coming from! A layer of ice on snow is horrible! It hurts my legs to walk if I break through that layer - and if I don't break through, it's super slippery!

    We have crusted over icy snow here too, which is good for me! Otherwise, the snow is so deep I can't walk in it - but I have in problem walking OVER it now!

    Walking ON it, looks fun, but crashing through doesn't. Do they make snowshoes for pups?

    Poor pumpkin head:( The snow is great, but that ice is brutal. We have ice UNDER our snow so the footing can still be pretty tricky, especially for Phantom (and Mom). You have had a lot of snow this winter, hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

    Yucky ice makes my feet slip and slid. Our snow didn't even cover the ground.
