How cute is this!
Check out this cake! It's too pretty to eat, right?
A beautiful wall hanging~
This was the winning pumpkin. He weighs 1,706 pounds! That's a lot of pumpkin pies!
The girls loved the flowers - the dahlias~
And the sunflowers~
And the autumn arrangements~
And how cute are these arrangements using kid's toys!
This is a miniature~
Excuse me - can someone please fill my food bowl?
This poor goose needs a neck tuck~
haha - we love the crested duckie. His wig is just too funny!
The peeps were fascinated with this Sebastopol goose. Her feathers are long and curly and drooping and she is just beautiful!
Dad loves Muscovy ducks. He thinks the skin on their face is cool. This must be the rooster form of the Muskovy duck!
Would he be crested too?
He doesn't look too happy about being groomed. Mom says that Molly will be in the same boat pretty soon. Uh oh, Molly! You better hide!
He's in his jammies already!
This poor donkey has an itch. Can't someone please help him out!
There were a lot of llamas! Mom kept waiting for one of them to spit on her. They do spit, don't they?
The peeps are already making plans to hit the Durham Fair next year!
So until next time.............
Love ya lots♥
Mitch and Molly
It seems unfair to have all those animals and a stoopid law against doggies. Dogs always bring order to places.
ReplyDeleteIt's too bad that doggies are now allowed! Anyway, your humans found very nice thingy at the fair. The flowers are so pretty.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for 'liking' our fb page! :) :) We'll encourage our mom to do more about it! bol

ReplyDeleteSmileys!

Wow! So many interesting things! Thanks for the wonderful photos!
ReplyDeleteNo Dogs Allowed....sheesh! So unfair. SHE goes to those events and we never get to go. We'd love to clean up all the dropped food and stuff. Hope they brought you something.

ReplyDeleteMom was oohing and ahhing over all those pretty flowers! And those animals are cool! How come they got to go and not you guys, though? No fair, people of the fair!!!
Yours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher

What fun you all had! Yes, where is all that fair food????
ReplyDeleteBy the way, your home looks gorgeous. Parental Unit too loves the clean, simple Shaker style. There's so much amazing American history in the Northeast (obvious, I guess, huh?) and so much of that is reflected in the homes...
Mom always wishes she had made it to the Durham Fair when they lived in CT. It looks like a great place to visit. Did Dad bring home any of those geese or ducks?
ReplyDeleteWoos - Ciara and Lightning
You got to love a good fair. Mom wants the truck with flowers
ReplyDeleteLily & Edward
I think your peeps tricked y'all, if pets were not allowed on the fair grounds then how did your mom get photos of the feather and furry animals. Don't let your mom tell you they are show animals because I know pets when I see them. Mom has always wanted a pet llama.
ReplyDeleteAroo to you,
Sully
Dat's enuf pumpkin pies for all of Blogville!
ReplyDeleteHi hi hi! Ojo here! They left you behind??? But look at all those other animals that you could have played with!
ReplyDeleteIts not being fair that you two could not go enjoy the fun toooo!!!

HUGS MADI YOUR BFFF
Looks like it was a nice day had!
ReplyDeleteLee loves a good fair. We have never used Lunaria Money Plant in an arrangement and it looks lovely. The Butternut Squash we could sure make some nice soup out of one of those for the cool weather. Bet you Dad has another species for the pond soon. Did your Mom enter anything into the fair. Lee won the Warren County pie contest one year.
ReplyDeleteThanks for being a friend
Sweet William The Scot
OOooooohhh! Lots of fun! Thanks for the pix!
ReplyDeleteI was floored by the 1700 lb pumpkin!!!! Oh my goodness!!!! You'd need a front end loader to take it anywhere :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing all the beautiful sights from the fair.
WOW!!! What a cool fair! you have such fascinating and beautiful exhibits and animals there!!
ReplyDeleteAnd thank you so very much for your comment on my paintings - so glad to make you smile!!!
