October Morning Walkies

Autumn is just the best season for walkies.   It's so crisp and beautiful!
We had frost.  It was 28 degrees yesterday morning!
Yes, I know.  The leaf is going along for a free ride in my beard~
 Good smells here, Molly!
You can see the wet spot on the top of Molly's back where she licked herself silly this morning.   You are so nutty, Molly!  It's too cold to go out with soaking wet furs!
The farmers plowed the eggplants under~

 Bittersweet~
 Juniper berries~
 Crab apples~
I need to pee on the Golden Rod~
We have these extremely stinky mushrooms that pop up all over the place on the other side of our pond.  Our friend, Dana, told us they were called Stink Horn Mushrooms.  He was sure right about them stinkin'.  We see lots of flies all over them.
We're looking through beautiful autumn leaves at the back of dad's big barn.
The beauty berries are still purple but the leaves got hit by frost and they are curling and dying.
 Time for our cookie, mom!
Thanks for walking along with us!

Love ya lots♥
Mitch and Molly

  2. Oh it's hard to see her face in the lick photo. She blends in with the leaves.
I've never heard of those mushrooms. My son digs mushrooms and eats them in Missouri. But he does make sure they are safe to eat.
These were some really great shots.
Glad you had a nice walk.
Thanks for coming over. I am home from work. Fixin' to take a nap.
Man 2 years olds wear you out!
I'll be getting my posts up in a little while!
Love your smilin' faces. Wish I was closer I'd dog sit.

  3. 28?!!? Bring it on!!! Of course, Mom might need to wear long pants instead of shorts, but that's her problem!
We LOVE all the beautiful colors - the Beauty Berries are so pretty! We saw some here this morning, but Mom didn't take a photo. Something about being afraid of someone trying to eat them. Where does she get these crazy ideas?!?
    Yours sincerely,

  4. I'm with you in thinking that fall walks are the best walks. There really is just something about this season - best of the four, hands down!

  7. 28 DEGREES ALREADY??? Wow, we hope that isn't a harbinger of what the winter will bring. We love the cooler temps here especially early morning and nights. But we haven't hit 28 yet, not even a frost. It is so pretty there. Such lovely colors.

  16. Your Autumn Walk was lovely thanks for taking us along. Treacle can also be a bit nervous, perhaps its a female thing, she doesn't like it when the Boys start to argue and hides until they have finished. She also sometimes gets skitty in the house and races past if she thinks she is trapped! Kelly used to lick her paws until they would be sore and she hated you touching her paws!!!! They are funny creatures! Hugs, Susie x

  18. What a great walk! Everything looks so beautiful, well except those mushrooms. They are kind of yucky looking. Everything else was pawfect.

  19. The colors there are exquisite! And you even have purple berries (I bet they're poisonous!). We don't have any color now so I love seeing your amazing photos from your walks!

I couldn't figure out how Molly reached her back! Sorry she's still acting OCD. We've been living with OCD for 8 years with R... Our vet said that there are drugs like prozac that help but we've never gotten that desperate.
