The January Tree

Mom couldn't bear to put all of her Christmas trees away and lose the festive lights that make her happy when it's cold and dreary and this season, far too rainy, so she took off the red flowers and replaced them with blue hydrangeas☺
Guess what!
Mackie and Jett sent me January pressies!   I have my very own shopping bag!
Let's hit those store for the January sales, mom!
And they sent me yummy treats!
Thank you, thank you!       You boys are excellent shoppers and I love my January gifts!

Can we do a make-over on the tree in February too and will there be gifts, mom?!

Love ya lots♥
Molly

  1. How cool to have your own shopping bag! My mom takes down all the Christmas stuff a few days after Christmas around here. She says after the day is over, she is moving on. Glad your mom can still enjoy it as she likes.

  3. We once visited a home where the tree stood all year long! Hearts on it in February ... bunnies & eggs at Easter time ... sunbrellas and beach towels in the summer and on, and on and on.
Don't know if it got pressies underneath each month ...
    Enjoy!

  5. Molly your MOM had a great giant idea on the January tree. The blues are beautiful. OMDs Jett and Mackie are too sweet
Mom could do a heart tree in Feb and a Shamrock Tree in March.

  12. What a good idea by your Mom to enjoy the tree for longer. I always hate taking ours down too, and I usually leave out our different snowmen and some scented candles.
Yes, fill that shopping bag back up with more treats - isn't that pretty!

  25. I'd love to have a year round tree. A friend of mine did and changed the ornaments with the seasons. In the summer she hung little glass hummingbirds on it. They were beautiful and reflected the lights. Perhaps when we have fewer dogs running around I'll have a tree.
