Tasty Tuesday

Mom had one more bottle of beer and decided that she wanted to make Whole Wheat Beer bread with it. The recipe is very simple and comes out perfect every time:

1 1/2 cups white flour, 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour, 4 1/2 teaspoons baking powder,  1 1/2 teaspoons salt, 1/3 cup brown sugar, 1 twelve ounce bottle of beer.

Pour 1/8 cup melted butter on top of the batter before it goes into the oven.   It's a 9"X5" loaf pan and it bakes for an hour.

It smells sooooooo good!
Perfect slice - with or without butter~
Of course I get a taste.   I wouldn't have it any other way and neither would mom.

Happy Tuesday, everybuddy!

Love ya lots♥

Molly

  11. Bailie would love that. She loves bread and always gets the end pieces from Mom because mom doesn't like them. Enjoy.
