Hardest Puzzle Ever

My sissy gave mom more than one puzzle for Christmas.   This one frustrated her to the max.

First of all, she has never worked a round puzzle before.   It took her FOREVER to get the edge pieces in place and when she was finally ready to get into it, she was completely lost.   She honestly didn't know where to begin.    She knew that the puzzle was available at Amazon and she wanted to read the reviews before she hummed it across the street and into the woods.  The puzzle gets outstanding reviews.  Everyone loves it.   One person posted a photo of starting in the center.   Mom has never started a puzzle in the middle of the frame before but she was so frustrated that she was willing to try just about anything.

There are letters on the back of the puzzle pieces.  They are a helping hand that get you into the vicinity of which side of the circle the piece in your hand is supposed to go.  In the beginning and more than halfway through, she never used the letters on the back.

This photo is days later.    As she's progressing, she realizes that the edges are more of a hindrance than an advantage to her so the edge pieces came off.

Success!
A note to my sissy - you are never allowed to buy mom a puzzle ever again☺

In case anyone wants to know - this is a Bgraamiens  puzzle.    The quality of the puzzle is top notch with nice thick pieces - just very challenging in mom's opinion.  Don't tell anybuddy, but I have a funny feeling that she will be buying another one.   She must be a glutton for punishment ☺

Just to let everyone know.  I don't like these boots!  I don't mind a boot on one foot once in awhile when I've been a naughty girl and have done some licking that I should not have been doing in the first place but four boots at one time is unacceptable!

Have a wonderful Wednesday!

Love ya lots♥

Molly

  2. But the boots are for your own good. I know, I know, try telling that to ANY teenager.

  3. Oh Molly that round puzzle made this ditzy old lady dizzy.
YIKES Kudos to mom...BOL at the note to Sissy.
I purrsonally think you look quite stylish in your boots...especially since they have a PURPOSE other than just style.

  4. I love puzzles and have that one. But it's not the hardest puzzle in the world. That would be a two sided puzzle with the same picture on both sides on one side the picture is shifted slightly. My favorite puzzle of all times is one of all yellow No. 2 pencils. I just downsized my puzzles for the move and kept my five hardest which I do over every winter.

    Your boots are cute, Molly.

  5. The hardest puzzel Mom ever did was a solid color with no picture. She thought about giving up several times but she became obsessed and finally finished it.

Puzzle building is kinda like meditation - when you're in the zone it can't be beat... when you ain't, don't be beat!!! You do look cute in those boots though... hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

  7. Lulu: "Those boots do seem to have you looking a little disgruntled, Molly!"
Charlee: "Hey maybe your mama can get revenge on the hard puzzle now that it's finished by baking a pizza on it!"

  10. That puzzle would be very difficult. I'd pass.

Our Angel Little Bit hated boots. We would laugh at how funny she would walk and that look of begging us to take them off.

Have a woof woof day, Miss Molly. My best to your mom. ♥

  11. Mom loves a round puzzle. She has done a few and agrees that the outside edge is very challenging. That puzzle looks very complex. Mom has seen it before and thinks maybe she should give it a try. She just finished one with the letters on the back too. Very helpful when you aren't sure a piece goes there.

Congrats on a great job, Mom. And Molly, we are sorry you have to wear those boots; we wouldn't like them either. We hope they at least help your feet heal.

  13. It's a beautiful puzzle, but sure looks like a lot of work. Mom doesn't like puzzles for herself. Maybe you will adjust to wearing your boots if they help your feeties feel better.

  14. Congrats to your mom for finishing that one. Lady and Man haven't puzzled much since the fall. They have a part way done one. They should get back at it.
