We are joining Jakey this week for Nature Friday.
Off we go to find signs of spring~
We found Pussy Willows! And we found a fluffy feather that was stuck.
Mom thinks it's hilarious to see bozo ducky feets perching. They don't grip the same as a bird ☺
We don't think this is maple syrup so the tree must have a booboo.
Our Lenten Rose doesn't seem to be doing anything exciting this year. Maybe next year will be better.
Happy Friday, everybuddy!
Love ya lots♥
Molly
That duck is so funny. We've never heard or seen that kind of a duck before. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThe best part of waking up this early looking for clues of Spring with you...is YOU Molly!!!
ReplyDeleteWe have pussy willows here too. Such lovely fluffy signs of spring.
ReplyDeleteYour Nature Fridays are the best. Love the pussy willows.
ReplyDeleteOMDs Molly that duck is well balanced he might need to try out for the Olympics. I expect the Lenten Rose is in recovery mode after all that snow you had a few weeks ago. One thing for your gentle sweet breath of Molly will
ReplyDeletegive it a big boost of oxygen
Hugs Cecilia

ReplyDeleteThat's okay, Lent isn't over yet!!! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
We enjoyed your nature hike! The only flowers we have around here are puppy willows.
ReplyDeleteYou found lots of cool nature to show us this week. We've never seen a duck like that before. His head looks kind of like a vultures.
ReplyDeleteI love going on nature walks with you, Miss Molly. I need my exercise too.
ReplyDeleteHave a woof woof day and weekend. My best to your mom. ♥
Molly, you have a gorgeous harness. You have found some terrific things on your walk. The duck looks like a Cayuga duck. And too bad about your Lenten Rose this year, the blooms it does have are a beautiful color. Have a marvellously happy day!
ReplyDeleteBozo duck does look funny!! We like all the signs of Spring you're finding...and we sure hope the trees ouchy heals real quick!
ReplyDeleteThat duck is a daredevil
ReplyDeleteYour willows are blooming! That's a huge step toward spring. Yipee!!!!
ReplyDeleteCharlee: "Hmm, that duck looks like it might fall off its perch at any time."
ReplyDeleteChaplin: "Perhaps we should go sit underneath. Just in case. So we can, you know, catch it if it falls."
Lulu: "Nobody believes you two cats want to help that duck."
Charlee: "Who said anything about helping it?"
That duck is definitely funny looking! He is new to us as well. We're so excited that spring is officially here today - let's just hope Mother Nature stays on board with that! :)
ReplyDeleteSpring is on its way. That duck does look so funny on the top of the fence you don't associate them with being this high off the ground!!! Hope you had a great weekend. Hugs & Love, Susie & Treacle xx
